Rooms are all on the 5th floor with stairs and a very old lift that only accessible for 3 people or 4 at a squeeze, rooms are very reasonable and in walking distance to all Historic Places to Visit

Townhouse 57 was very clean and comfortable. The lift was greatly appreciated! We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and central location. Nada was able to get us a taxi to the airport. We appreciate the beautiful apartment and their flexibility!

I like the location, where you will find a supermarket, a lots of restaurants and shops. It is conveniently located to famous sites, such as Vantigan Museum, St Peter Basilica, Castel of Sant Angelo, etc. They are all within 15 minutes of walk.

The host was very helpful when we needed to do very late check in due to delays on our train from Foggia. Charged 20euro for late check in. Helped us with transport to Airport ( 65euro).

Great location and room/building was clean. Good communication with staff. We found though that there were items in the room that needed attention: towel hook very loose from the wall, electrical plug not working, bedside lamp worked intermittently, minor repairs needed at ceiling and floor trim. The fridge could be colder

We enjoyed our stay, property is close to restaurants, stores, and the Vatican. I would rate a five star, but the coffee maker didn’t work very well. However, I’m American and I like big cups of coffee. But all in all this is a great place to stay!!

Clean and renovated facility

This is a nice renovated property in a very nice area of Rome and very close to Vatican (within walking distance). Close to Metro and bus station. The street was quiet at nights. The building in general and suites are very clean. The management does a great job. I recommend this property.

It is a place that I prefer to stay when I come back to Rome because of its comfort, great and responsive staff, and accessibility to all key locations! I highly recommend Townhouse 57 as a place to stay for all vacationers and tourists!

Overall we were quite happy with our choice, while at the same time it does not fit the description of a typical "hotel". What we found, was basically an apartment with 5 separate rooms. The reception desk was only staffed at the time of our arrival and that upon communication per WhatsApp prior to reaching our destination. The exchange which took place in advance of our trip was friendly and helpful. Room service was held to a minimum but in line with the reasonable price we paid. The location to public transportation, key tourist attractions, restaurants and shopping was excellent!

Very difficult to get in and out of shower. No rails to hold on to. No hooks or shelves to put anything on. Did not get pick up from airport like we were supposed to. Loved the location with next door market. We stayed in room #3. Staff friendly.

Good location

Apartment was in a good location to Vatican City and close to a metro line. Apartment was on the fifth floor with stairs and lift options. Hosts were friendly and communicated with us beforehand. They met us there at a time that suited us and we were allowed to check in slightly early which was great (did offer to store bags if the room wasn’t ready too). Room was in ok condition itself however the air con didn’t work and the hair dryer had hardly any power or heat to it. The bathroom layout is very narrow with a big step up into the shower (would be hard for someone who has difficulties climbing up to get in and out of).

Close to Vatican City

Close to Vatican City but, 40 min by walk from the center (Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, etc) which was ok because I really enjoy walking. The bathroom is extremely small, I developed new skills to use it... (and it is a bit dangerous...). The shower should be completely changed. The ambient light in the room is poor. I found bugs during the stay. You need 3 keys to get in the room and a special mentioning for the tiny and spooky elevator.
