A wonderful place to stay. Unfortunately I got sick and had to cut short my trip, but I enjoyed my stay and Simona was warm, welcoming and very accommodating. I recommend St. Peter’s Relax (and Simona) most highly. I will certainly return for any future visits.

Great spot near the Vatican City

Great spot a stone’s throw away from the Vatican, plenty of shops and restaurants, five minutes walks to the Ottaviano underground and a hidden gem of a local market opposite the front gate. We bought a lot of cheese and 1kg of prosciutto for €25. There is also a small fridge in the room where you can store the local delicacies if you get carried away and buy more than you can cope with in one sitting, and a communal kitchen (no-hob) where you can make coffee and heat up the pizzas. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. She made sure we had plenty instruction about how to find the property, self-check-in and get around Rome.

Convenient Roman Stay

This hotel was centrally located, within a 10 minute walk to Vatican City and a closer walk to the metro stop. The neighborhood around was also very pleasant and safe to walk around in the mornings and evenings. This is a smaller apartment-like accommodation. There are 3 (I believe) rooms available, with each room having its own private bathroom. There is a communal small dining room/kitchenette that is shared between all guests. We could hear our fellow guests coming in and out of the apartment, but other than that, you had your own privacy within your room. The place is located within a residential building so you will receive detailed instructions from staff on how to get the keys to enter the building, the code to enter the apartment itself which is up one flight of stairs (there is an elevator available!), and a separate key to enter your own private room. Special thanks to Cecilia for her helpfulness with our questions and her recommendations for Rome!

LOVED IT!!

Simone was amazing! She contacted me personally a couple of times before my stay, and gave very detailed directions on how to access the building, etc. The room was cute, and extremely clean! Traveling alone, I felt very safe! It is centrally located, with a lot of eateries and fun things to do right around the corner. I will definitely stay there again.

All communication was handled by phone or online. Never met anyone relating to the room. The keys were in a key box and we had to be buzzed in by first texting. Before we left, the property tax had to be paid and left on the table along with the key. We then had to take a photo of money and key. Then text it as proof we completed what was expected.

La situazione igienica (un cambio ascigamani in 5 giorni, con asciugamani sporchi per fiunta, e niente cambio lenzuola) e il rapporto con l'host erano parecchio negativi. Bagno molto stretto, con odore di muffa (non cerano finestre). Climatizzatore vecchio e rumoroso. Due stelle per la posizione ottima.

Struttura situata in posizione ottimale per visitare tutta la città, a due passi da Piazza San Pietro e vicinissima alla fermata della metropolitana. 호텔은 아니고 B&B였는데 호스트분이 친절하고 숙소도 비교적 깔끔해습니다. 호텔이 아니다보니 옆방에 다른 외국인이 투숙하면 좀 신경이 쓰이더군요.

Séjour de 5 nuits parfait. Chambre "Aténa" très propre, calme, suffisamment spacieuse pour 4 personnes (2 adultes et 2 ados). Literie confortable, du rangement. Proche de toutes commodités: restaurants, commerces, bus , métro , marché couvert en face (très agréable pour acheter quelques fruits frais) et à deux pas du musée de Vatican. Petit déjeuner copieux en libre service le matin. Nous n'avons pas pu le prendre pendant 3 matins pour cause d'appareils en panne, mais nous n'y avons pas perdu au change; le gérant nous a proposé de déjeuner dans un petit bar tout proche de la chambre: ambiance de quartier garantie et véritable capuccino! Nous avons également apprécié de pouvoir laisser nos bagages au B and B jusqu'à l'heure de notre train. Je recommande sans hésiter cette adresse.

A place to call HOME in Rome

St. Peter's Relax is a B&B consisting of only three bedrooms. However, it is walking distance to the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Basilica. The Metro is in walking distance. The owners, Maria and Marisol, got us taxis for early mornings to see Pope Francis and train tickets as well as a private taxi to get us to the train station without our need to take the stairs. Breakfast included fresh fruit, 5 or 6 high fiber cereals, milk, yogurt, three kinds of juices, bread, a toaster, jellies, jams, Nutella spread, cookies, espresso or boiling water for decaf from home, plus ham and cheese. We never ran out of food. We would certainly go back the next time we go to Rome.

Top Lage und trotzdem ruhig.

Top Lage, viele der Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Trotzdem ist das Hotel sehr ruhig und familiär. Wir wurden super bedient, sehr sauber. Uns wurden viele Insider Tipps gegeben bzgl. Gastronomie und lokalen die noch das "richtige ital. Essen" anbieten. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Das St. Peter s Relax ist ein sehr nettes B&B ganz in der Nähe des Vatikanischen Museums. Auch eine U-Bahnstation ist in ca 5 min zu Fuss zu erreichen. Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Gegenüber des B&B ist ein großartiger italienischer Markt, wo man neben frischer Pasta, Käse, Gemüse und Obst, so ziemlich alles bekommt was das Herz begeht. Die Besitzerin ist sehr bemüht und gibt gerne Tips (Lokale, Flohmärkte, Sehenswürdigkeiten und die beste Zeit um diese zu besuchen...). Die Zimmer sind sauber allerdings etwas hellhörig, das Frühstück für italienische Verhältnisse recht üppig. Wir würden das St. Peter s Relax auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel für Besichtigung Vatikan

Leider war niemand da, als wir nachmittags ankamen. Erst auf unseren telefonischen Anruf hin kam jemand nach ca. 20 Minuten. Angeblich hatte man uns E-mails geschickt. Aber wir haben keine erhalten, auch nicht im Spam. Beim Einchecken wollte man sofort, dass wir die Hotelkosten bezahlen. Auf den Hinweis, dass wir schon alles bezahlt hätten, wurde uns entgegnet, es wäre nur das Hotel reserviert. Erst nach unserer Bitte dies eingehend zu überprüfen, stellte dann der Herr fest, dass alles bezahlt ist. Im fensterlosen Bad roch es während unseres Aufenthaltes extrem stark nach Abwasser. Man sagte uns, dass dies bekannt sei, aber nicht geändert werden könnte. Wir können nicht sagen, ob überhaupt die Handtücher getauscht wurden. Jedenfalls erhielten wir nie "zusammengelegte" Handtücher, sondern diese hingen im feuchten Zustand an den Wandhaken.
