Spanish Steps

We had just the most amazing time. The location cannot be beat. The flat was very clean and spacious. Communication with the managers was swift and amazing and we had zero issues! Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great location near Spanish Steps, shopping, and restaurants. The check-in process can be challenging for anyone not tech savvy or who do not have cellular data upon arrival. We were fortunate that the ground floor door was not locked upon arrival.Apartment is listed as being on the 2nd floor. For Americans, it is important to note this is the equivalent of the 3rd floor. In Europe their floors are Ground, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. The apartment does not have an elevator so be aware. The apartment was very clean upon arrival. Each room had clean sheets on the beds and towels were provided for each guest. It would have been nice to have blankets also but we managed. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were all spacious and provided ample room for our family of 5 adults comfortably. The “living room” is not very functional. It is like a hallway that has been outfitted with a daybed (for a 10th person if needed) and a chair. There really wasn’t room for us all to gather & relax together in this room. We had to sit around the dining table to do that. We did not experience any issues with noise during our stay. We had our windows closed while sleeping. If you want privacy or to block the sun/moonlight, you need to open the windows to close the wooden shutters outside each window first. The air conditioning units in each room were a blessing. All worked great during our stay. Our host helped us secure transportation from the airport and to our cruise port. Very helpful!

Charming apartment in a fantastic lication

A wonderful apartment in a charming building. Four of us stayed here for four nights and it was a great location to return to after touring the sites of Rome. Germana was very helpful and quick to answer my many questions. We used her restaurant recommendations two of our four nights and they were great. The metro is steps away and easy to navigate to anywhere

Spanish Steps

An excellent property in a superb location. Accessible by foot for many places and close to the metro. Apartment was very well equipped, though we were unable to get the TVs to connect to streaming services (ie Netflix) and there are no English language TV channels. The front bedrooms can be noisy at night so earplugs might be needed for light sleepers - but what do you expect in the centre of a busy city! Definitely a place to stay again.

Fantastic location

Staying here was a fantastic experience. Germana responding almost immediately to any question. The apartment was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed. The location was fantastic and easy to get anywhere by walking or using the metro. I’ve read some people had trouble getting in but it couldn’t have been easier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again without question.

Great location

The location was excellent-near restaurants, shops and lots of history. Very clean. Though it indicates second floor, it’s actually 3 flights to the door. The fireplace and second bedroom with two beds was a little misleading. They were not on the premises. Check in process on line was cumbersome. We, unfortunately, ran into the train strike and had to change our plans. We had to leave a day early and was not granted a refund for the last day.. The cancellation policy, according to Vrbo Host was 30 days. After reviewing the cancellation policy it was noted that hosts can adjust their policy as needed. We did enjoy Rome and all that it had to offer!

Close to many attractions

It was large enough advertised for 10 but look like 9 could stay 8 comfortably. It was stocked with coffee sugar oil tea. Close to grocery stores and many options for dining. The online check in could be challenging for elderly or the non techie

Excellent location

This location was amazing and right in the middle of all the nice shopping and the Spanish steps. Very large bathrooms with big showers. Air conditioning worked very well in all the bedrooms. Easy to access and nicely decorated. We would stay here again.

Check in frustrating

Check in process was very poor. The key was stuck in lockbox and it took us a while to fit a long time to figure out that the lockback lockbox had to be turned upside down in order to open very frustrating. No communication with property manager very bad.

Nice place near Spanish Steps

Apartment was as nice as advertised. Location is wonderful, off main road but very close to Spanish Steps and shopping area. Unit is well-maintained, spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Air-conditioning units don’t blow much air, so it may be warm later in the summer on hot days.

Perfect!!

The apartment was very spacious and well-appointed and updated. It was very clean and had plenty of space for our family of 7. The location could not have been better and the host was very responsive and accommodating. The master bedroom was the best part, with a window that opened to the peaceful courtyard below. Best sleep in awhile! Definitely a highlight of our trip to Rome!

Rome Spanish Steps

Great location to see all the sites in Rome as short walk to the Metro station by Spanish Steps and the system is cheap and faster than taxis. Tons of good restaurants and shopping around the apartment. Apartment worked well for my family of 5 who are all adults. The door inside a door to access the building made us feel like we traveled back in time to ages past, very fun! We brought travel clothes line to supplement the big clothes drying rack. Also unit front door is skeleton key and someone in the building helped us figure it out as not accustomed to that type. Great place to stay and run all over Rome!

Owner is not “at your disposal”

I made a mistake booking only three people instead of five. When I asked for more towels, she immediately charged more for the two other people but said her towel service people weren’t available over the weekend. (We arrived on a Friday afternoon and left Monday morning.) Her description and binder says she’s at your disposal during your stay. Not true if she can’t provide the basics like towels and bedding. Mistakes happen—owner should be able to manage.

Location! Location! Location!

The location of this apartment is fantastic. Super central to most sites. Fabulous restaurants within 3 minutes walking. The apartment itself is updated, clean and comfortable. One minor thing, there is no elevator to the floor the apartment is situated on. We had big suitcases to drag up 3 floors but the building neighbor was such a friendly gentleman who immediately helped us. All in all we had a fantastic time and would love to come back again. Best Location in Rome!

We loved the location of the apartment. It is right in the heart of the Spanish Steps area of Rome. The apartment was perfect for 4 friends to stay in comfort and with privacy when we needed it. Germana was available whenever we needed to contact her. The best was that she was able to give us a late check-out, which allowed us to get a bit more shopping in!
