The Vatican area is easy to get by metro or bus (15 minutes).

Great location

Our family group thoroughly enjoyed this apartment and especially the location near the Coliseum and many restaurants. Paolo was very helpful with local suggestions and we especially appreciated that he arranged airport transportation upon our departure.

Perfect location

The apartment was just as advertised, clean and comfortable. Paolo was wonderful! He arranged our driver from the train station on arrival and to the airport when we checked out. The location was perfect and right down from the Colosseum with stores, a market and plenty of good restaurants nearby. We totally enjoyed our stay!

Very nice stay in Rome

The apartment is very close to Colosseum and nearby to restaurants and coffee shops. Paulo is an excellent host and the apartment had all the adequate amenities. The apartment is dated and as with the rest of the ones in the historic district. The elevator is small and can get fit in 2 or 3 people max. If you have bags, be prepared for multiple trips. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are small but adequate. The hot water takes a few mins to arrive, but it eventually does. Overall we enjoyed out stay and Paulo's hospitality. If you are traveling from outside EU, you will need some international adapters for charging your devices. Would be nice if the home had a few.

Lovely apartment

Our stay was great. The location was terrific. It was within walking distance of the sights and plenty of restaurants. The bus stop was right in front and easy to negotiate. The apartment was clean and quiet and well stocked. We would recommend the apartment.

Beautiful home

Paolo was so helpful with suggestions on restaurants, tours, maps and the best gelato in Rome. The apartment was beautifully decorated and homey and comfortable. We had 5 people and enjoyed the extra space. We would definitely stay here again. The colosseum was just down the block!

Incredible experience

Host and location were great.

First - Paulo (the host) was wonderful. He made resturant and travel arrangements for us. Answered all our questions. Second - location was truly within sight of the coliseum. Yet it was in a neighborhood - lots of small restaurants and small shops. Third - the apartment has three bedrooms and two baths which is very large for Rome. I will mention that the bathroom attached to the bedroom is very small by American standards as is the kitchen. Lastly - we wanted to experience Rome like a Roman which this apartment allowed.

Fantastic!

Paolo was amazing! He made the whole trip seamless and easy. His tips on where to eat and non tourist spots to see did not disappoint. The apartment was in the perfect spot, within walking distance to many sites and bus stops. We were a family of 6 and had lots of space! The kids loved the lift bedroom. If we are ever back in Rome we will 100% stay here again.

Colosseum Apartment Rental

Paolo was an exceptional host and provided great information for our stay. The location was great, walking distance to colosseum and easy access to the metro line. The neighborhood was a bit dodgy at night but overall good location. Paolo was very accommodating to our needs and travel and even arranged a car service to take us to the airport. The apartment was spacious and clean and perfect for our trip!

The Manager Makes The Difference Here!

A comfortable apartment...very close to the Coliseum...but the difference is the EXCELLENT property manager, Paolo! He defines customer centric service...from pre arrival communication to arranging for airport transfers...to meeting us for an early check in he was one of the best we have encountered - He has a number of apartments...if you don't like this one check out his other options! Great place! Wonderful Host!

Paolo was very helpful & accommodating from booking to throughout our stay. Answered all of our questions, greeted us at the unit and gave a full tour, offered suggestions for restaurants and activities. Just a great host. Unit itself was very comfortable. Location is within sight of the Colosseum (just a few short blocks away). We did not use the kitchen, but there was a place to get coffee and pastries a few doors down toward the Colosseum and many restaurants just a block or two away. We were a group of three couples and there was plenty of room for everyone.

Just the right distance for us

A return trip to Rome with family (including teens) for 1 week in this location was just right. We were able to find transportation to and from all the major sites; either by wheel, rail, or foot. The layout gives enough space for 3 couples, or in our case, 2 teens plus parents. The kitchen is well equipped and suited our needs. Both washer and dryer worked well. Be prepared for a little learning on these- the dryer is a ductless, in the kitchen; the washer is on the balcony. It sounds like it wouldn’t make sense, but it works and wasn’t a difficult thing to work with. If you’ve never worked with these before, do a little googling before jumping in. We learned the hard way. Food and staples are easy to get from the grocer that is at the corner. Reasonable prices and selection. Check in and out was super simple. Paolo was able to set us up with a very reasonable transport for our early morning FCO flight- you won’t find anything better, just take the offer. Only cons I would say are: the bedroom on the back left (white walls) can get a little noisy at night. Not terrible, but noticeably noisier than the courtyard side rooms (yellow and purple). The bathrooms had a slight odor to them in the morning - after some ventilation fans, it was manageable. These are things that are part of the building, and out of the control of the apartment holder- so we worked with it :) I would recommend, this was a far better experience than the last three trips we had to Rome

Colosseum Apartment

Paulo's Colosseum Apartment was perfect for our family trip to Rome. We stayed there for over a week and a half and it wasn't nearly long enough! The location is conveniently close to a tram line, both metro lines, and a variety of bus lines. Paulo was very helpful with getting us settled in and acquainting us with what was nearby and available in the neighborhood! We would love to stay here on our next trip! Would you come back again or recommend this home to a friend? Was the property a good fit for the group you were traveling with? What nearby activities, attractions, or restaurants did you enjoy? What did the owner or property manager do to provide great customer service?

Centrally Located Apartment with PAULO - THE AMAZING HOST!

The property is exactly as depicted. We were close to the coliseum, and there was plenty of room for our family of 8. Grandma, Mom & Dad, and 5 teenagers. We loved the washing machine, to wash and dry our clothes each night in the typical Roman Courtyard of the apartment building. The beds were comfortable. Paulo arranged for taxis to and from the airport. He also arranged for a wheelchair rental for Grandma, whose legs were too tired for touring through Rome. He saved our trip! We would definitely stay in Paolo's apartment again.

Close to Colosseum

Our stay at this location was ok. Paolo was very helpful during our stay. The apartment is very old, and several times during our stay there were very strong sewage smells. We needed to keep all the windows open to help keep this down. I would advise the owner of this apartment to put a non-slip coating on the floor of the bigger shower since it becomes very slippery when showering. The elevator is very small and only two people can go up or down at a time; henceforth if you have a large amount of luggage with you it takes quite a while to get it downstairs. Location was pretty far from everything except for the Colosseum.
