Rome: Apartment in gated community, close to the center of Rome

The apartament is composed by 2 bedrooms(with 2 beds each),2 bathrooms, a living-room (with 1 sofa-bed)and a kitchen with a little court. Therefore it can lodges 4 or 5 guests.

The apartement is located in a quite villa, where the owners live, but has an indipendent entrance. Protected parking-place available.

The villa, surrounded by a garden with high trunk trees, borders with Villa Pamphili, one of the prettiest and biggest hystorical villas of Italy. The hill of Gianicolo, from which you can enjoy a breath-taking view, and the Basilica of San Pietro, are very closed.
Within 50 metres of the gate's entrance , stops the fast tram which leads to Torre Argentina's square, in the heart of the city, going through the historical neighbourhood of Trastevere, famous for its typical bar, pubs and restaurants.
Free parking, inside the villa.
Spoken languages: italian, english, german and french.

Gemütliche Wohnung in guter Lage

Unser Aufenthalt in der Wohnung war sehr angenehm. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist hübsch italienisch eingerichtet. Die Lage der Wohnung ist vor allem für Familien sehr gut gelegen. Sie ist nah genug am Stadtzentrum und mit dem Nahverkehr sehr gut zu erreichen, aber auch weit genug vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, um nach dem trubeligen Tag zu entspannen. Die Wohnung besteht aus 1 Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und einem Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten. Im Wohnzimmer befindet sich auch noch ein Gästebett. Die 2 Bäder sind vor allem mit 2 angehenden Teenagern sehr praktisch. Eine Anreise per Zug ist gut möglich, aber auch das eigene Auto kann direkt auf dem Gelände der Wohnung abgestellt werden. Alles in allem eine schöne und preiswerte Ferienwohnung mit netter Gastgeberin in einer angenehmen Gegend in Rom.

Rom 2023

Wir waren mit der Wohnung absolut zufrieden. Unsere Vermieterin war sehr nett und hat uns viele Tips gegeben. Am Abreisetag hat sie uns sogar noch zum Flughafen gebracht. Die nächste Bus- bzw. Straßenbahnhaltestelle war zu Fuß in kaum fünf Minuten zu erreichen. Die Strecke zum Strand in Ostia kann man mit Bus und Bahn in ca. 55 Minuten bewältigen. Das Gesamtpaket von Wohnung, Lage und Rom bekommt von uns fünf Sterne.

Happy stay

The apartment was spotless and for two adults on a business trip worked out well. Kristen picked us up at the airport and on the way to the apartment stopped at a supermarket and helped us shopping. This was a big help as we were able to get most of what we needed for our six days stay. We tried to use FREENOW Rome's uber like cab app. It works well but, in the mornings, the whole city is using cabs. Kristen drove us each day to the hospital where we were working. She made the stay work for us in many ways. She is always happy and helpful. The neighborhood is NOT a tourism area, but all is close, and we feel overall this apartment was an excellent joice. Will return without hesitation. Ed

Rdc de villa , bien équipé, propre., neamoins assez loin du centre ville 30 mn environ en bus de la place Venizia. Le plus est le Calme. Le moins TV5 monde uniquement en Francais, rien d"autre....

Roaming Rome

The stay was great, and the place was, by distance, accessible to the Vatican (our main purpose of visit) but also to other sites. The downside at the time of our visit, the rail service was out of operation, although there were buses, we were not as confident doing the bus line, so we did app-based transport, which was also convenient. Our host was very gracious and hospitable and accommodating, finding the time to give us adequate directions on important aspects of our stay. We could tell her love for her place, and we loved our accommodations as well because of the privacy and the ease of use of all amenities in complete privacy -- like having your own place in Rome! A little bit of The other downside was the wifi that went down towards the last 2 days of our stay. It was not a big deal because we were on vacation, but having a medical practice like myself, where I did check on urgent concerns once in a while, just made it a little less perfect. Overall, it was a great stay and a great family vacation!

Tranquilité et sécurité

Appartement situé dans une villa. Propre, tranquille, sécuritaire et des gens accueillants, voilà vous avez trouvez. Parfait pour être à l'écart du tumulte de Rome et pouvoir y laisser la voiture

Il y a le tramway à proximité mais en travaux. Mais il y a de nombreuses lignes de bus pour aller, généralement en direct, dans les endroits touristiques. Appartement très spacieux et calme pour 2 couples comme nous

Maison sur le Janicule

Location parfaite pour nous. Nous étions 2 couples venus en voiture. La maison est confortable avec une bonne literie. Le tram est tout de suite à proximité. Nous avons été bien accueillis par Kirsten qui nous a donné de bons conseils dont celui de se rendre au restaurant Da Cesare... merci beaucoup pour cet excellent séjour !

Soggiorno fantastico

Bella villa al Gianicolo: comoda, spaziosa e fornita di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno a Roma. Mezzi pubblici per il centro storico in prossimità. Proprietari molto cordiali e disponibili. Séjour à Rome

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine chez Kirsten. Elle est accueillante et avenante. Elle saura vous donner de bons conseils pour la visite de Rome. Et surtout elle parle le français !!! Nous avions un appartement avec 2 chambres. C'est spacieux, très bien pour 4 voir 5. L'appartement est très bien équipé avec un petit patio pour manger en extérieur. L'atout de cet endroit c'est que vous pouvez garer la voiture. C'est sécurisé et surtout vous ne touchez plus la voiture de votre séjour. En effet, vous êtes à 3mn de la ligne 8 de tramway qui mène à la piazza Venezia. C'est le départ du tramway donc vous êtes souvent seuls et il y a une machine automatique pour acheter les billets. Enfin il y aussi à 5mn un arrêt de bus qui vous mène directement en 10mn à deux pas de la place Saint Pierre au Vatican. Je recommande tout simplement Mons Aureus Resort. Merci Kerstin. Great Apartment with Fantastic Owners

From the moment I booked to the moment I left I was extremely well looked after. It felt like home! The apartment is clean, spacious and well-equipped. Just a two minute walk to the tram (which seems to have one leaving every 5 minutes or so) and you’re off to the historic centre. I really look forward to my next visit.

Excellent Host

We really enjoyed our short stay. The owner was amazing. She took care of us from the time we arrived. It was a short stay for me since I had to pick up my father in law at the airport but in the future I can not wait to go back and use it while visiting the sites in Rome. Very beautiful place and amazing host. Thank you.

Kerstin the property owner was most helpful showing us the amenities of the place.

The suite has all the necessities we need on a daily basis, carefully planned out, down to full cooking utensils and cutlery. The place is very clean and private and is in very close to the tram terminal and bus routes. Thanks Kerstin, you made our visit very pleasurable and will definitely return should we be in Rome again.

Excellent Location. Very clean and well maintained.

We passed a very pleasant 10-day stay in this comfortable and peaceful appartment with private parking. The location is very well situated with the tram into the centre of town only a five minute walk away - likewise for the beautiful Villa Pamphili Park. Hosts Marco & Kirsten gave us every assistance in locating supermarkets, large open fresh market and restaurant. We can recommed this very clean and well furnished appartment.

Not as it seems

This property is listed as a resort. Do not be fooled! This is a basement apartment at the bottom of a steep driveway. There is really nothing 'resort-like' about this property. The interior is quite worn out and is in need of painting and refreshing, beds are old and saggy. Our driver was hesitant to drop us at this property due to the nature of the neighborhood. There is graffiti everywhere and the driver told us it is an unsafe neighborhood, that we should not go out alone at night, and to be very careful. The owner communicated well prior to our arrival but unfortunately was not available to check us in so her friend let us in and provided the keys. The property is quite dark and worn. It is close to the tram line for access into Trastevere and the center. We were not happy with the accommodation and requested to not take the room. The owner did not contact us after we handed back the keys and requested a partial refund. When we called for a car to pick us up, several drivers accepted the call then cancelled picking us up at this address.

Peaceful and convenient

Kirsten was wonderful. She was flexible when our flight was delayed and welcomed us although it meant she had to stay up late. She was very helpful with local information and we felt very welcome. The location was so convenient to the tram that takes you directly to the Piazza Venezia. It was very easy to get there and back. We loved our stay here and would come again.

Sehr angenehmer und stressfreier Aufenthalt! TOP Lage! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Unser Urlaub war Erholung pur! Die Lage der Ferienwohnung empfanden wir als sehr gut. In ca. 5 min. Entfernung ist ein kleiner Minimarkt und die Straßenbahnendstation (die Sitzplatztechnisch ein Segen ist) und ein paar Meter weiter ein Supermarkt und man ist mit der Straßenbahn in ca. 20 min mitten in der Innenstadt und kann von dort aus alles zu Fuß erreichen. Oder alternativ mit dem Bus direkt in Richtung Vatikan (Tipp! ist sogar etwas schneller als mit der Straßenbahn..)Die Vermieterin hat uns bestens informiert was wo zu finden ist und gute Empfehlungen geben können und uns zufällig sogar mit Wochenkarten für die Straßenbahn ausstatten können. Das sind in Rom Verbundkarten und man kann damit alles öffentliche fahren. Bus, Zug, Metro, Tram - alles mit drin! Alles in allem ein wirklich angenehmer Aufenthalt und eine sehr empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung!

Sød vært, kort til centrum

Vi blev modtaget så fint, følte os hjemme med det samme. Kort vej til centrum, med bus eller sporvogn. Med stoppested lige rund om hjørnet. En taxa hjem fra byen kostede 14-20€ Vi brugte kun lejligheden til at sove i, og dag timerne blev brugt i Byen. Tak for opholdet.

Rome trip

Great stay. Convenient to the metro which we used daily. There is a fantastic restaurant 5 minutes away ( I wish I could remember the name) that is in the bottom of an apartment complex. During our stay it was relatively cool so the temperature in the place was good. I didn’t notice an air conditioner so that might be an issue on hot days. Quiet and comfortable place overall

Indimenticabile soggiorno

Bellissimo appartamento: pulitissimo, comodo, luminoso e veramente confortevole. Abbiamo trascorso quattro giorni davvero indimenticabili, per una famiglia di 5 persone non é facile trovare un buon posto dove soggiornare ma qui siamo rimasti pienamente soddisfatti. Tutti i confort possibili e collegamenti comodissimi con il centro. Un ringraziamento di cuore ai proprietari, che oltre ad averci trattati benissimo, consigliandoci i migliori luoghi e mostre da visitare, ci hanno fatti sentire a casa.
