Good location. Walkable to many tourist places especially the Vatican Museum. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean but a bit outdated style-wise. Rooms can use updated coat of paint and minor repairs. Breakfast was good.

Christopher was available when needed and very friendly. This place is a walking distance to Castel de Angelo and St Peter's Basilica. If you are interested in a hop on hop off bus, the ticketing office and bus stop are just near the end of the bridge. It felt safe walking around this area.

The hard time is to get in the gate email was very fine print is hard to read without out light is dark, it takes a while for us to figure out. Other than that it was good.

Just spent a couple of days in Rome, Piccolo Imperiale was a great pick,the owner met us on arrival and was really helpful,local cafes bars to serve our requirements, hotel was superb rooms immaculate and bed sheets changed daily, would highly recommend to anyone.

Small but cozy

The hotel is in a good location, short distance to the buses to the airport. There is a Tax, I had to pay there, not sure why. I never encounter to pay extra tax, the Filipino, in charge of the receptionist, very attentive, very nice guy. They need to have a bigger sign of the hotel hard to find the first time. The room is very small, and the shower extremely small. Overall, very clean.

The only issue we had was that there was nobody available when we wanted to check and waited 40 minutes, after being asked what time we were checking in 4 times. The number provided for assistance did not connect and then we were told to call another number as a management company seems to be running multiple guest rooms like this. When the staff did arrive they were lovely, friendly and very helpful. The room itself was nice and clean, though the fridge did not seem to work, but the location is the main attraction of the property being only a 10 minute walk from the Vatican and handy to walk into the rest of Rome.
