Large, bright and comfortable penthouse with a large and comfortable terrace in the center of Rome with a view of the Colosseum (reachable on foot in 5 minutes) and many other monuments: Campidoglio, Fori Imperiali, Altare della Patria, San Pietro, San Giovanni, Obelisco. ..
Apartment composed of: 2 double bedrooms (a double bed can be divided into two single beds); kitchen with hob, extractor hood, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle and everything needed for cooking; living room with dining table for 6 people, double sofa bed and TV; study with desk, office chair, reading armchair and play corner for children; bathroom with double window complete with shower, bidet, toilet and sink; terrace with dining table for 6, sofa and armchairs, deck chairs, covered area with sofa, lighting, awning.
In the apartment you will find all the services: Air conditioning, heating, Wifi, smart TV, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine with pods, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, clothesline, bathroom and bed linen and complete supply for the kitchen.
Strategic position, very close to the most important monuments, but outside the limited traffic area. A short distance from Termini train station (25/30 minutes on foot, 15/20 by bus, even less by taxi)

Amazing stay in Rome!!

This apartment is such a great location if wanting to stay in the Monti area. Short walk to colosseum and walkable to most other attractions as well. Hosts were very accommodating and wonderful! Everything was exactly how listing stated. Would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Rome!

Rome Vacation

We cannot say enough good things about our stay! This apartment was in the perfect location, was spacious and clean, and had a great balcony to relax on after long days touring the sites. The apartment was well stocked we especially enjoyed the coffee they provided. The owners were great, easy to communicate with, and very helpful. If we ever make it back to Rome, we will definitely stay here again!

This place was amazing! Instructions were very clear for check in. It was so close to everything. The view from the rooftop was awesome. The kitchen had everything we needed and coffee was provided, but there was a nice coffee shop across the street as well. The beds were comfortable. The grocery store was close and doubled as a bounce location to store my luggage on the last day (through the bounce app of course).The host was so helpful and accommodating, and she reached out throughout our stay to make sure we were ok and to help if we needed anything. She set up transportation to and from the airport for us which I was so thankful for. I cannot say enough about this experience, location, and host. Absolutely wonderful!!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I come back to Rome! Thank you so much!

Wonderful apartment with greay location!

We loved the apartment! The rooftop terrace was amazing as were the views. Our host was helpful and communicated well with us. The location was idea with a bus stop and subway close by. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Rome

Really enjoyable stay

We had a fantastic time from start to finish. Beautiful apartment in a central but quiet location . The owner Francesca was just brilliant from the moment we booked, to meeting us and showing us around . We got around by the metro which is close by and saw all the sites . Great holiday.

Wonderful stay in Roma!

The apartment was perfect for my wife, our son (age 23), and myself. Great location with easy access to Rome via bus stops and subway, and within walking distance to Monti restaurants, coliseum, Forum, and more. Grocery store across the street. Drinking morning coffee on the terrace was a great way to start the day. The hosts were so nice and very helpful as well. We had a great time in Rome and our stay made the trip extra special. When we visit Rome again, we know where we will want to stay!

Great Place

This place was perfect for our stay in Rome for 4 adults. The location was close enough to sites, but away from all the insane crowds in the touristy areas. There’s a metro stop close by that was easy to navigate. There’s also a speakeasy right across the street that was a unique experience. There’s an elevator, laundry machine, blow dryer, and coffee machine. Overall, we would stay here again!

A bit of heaven in Rome

This was our very favorite place outside of the villa in Crete! Franchesca was just the sweetest and so very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was perfect in every way and we felt like we were staying with the locals. Loved the authenticity of the building and the patio was icing on the cake! Walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises !

Such a lovely stay. The pictures don't do it justice. Francesca and Stefano Booked us a car from the airport and she welcomed us as soon as we arrived. The place is walking distance to everything. Fantastic

This is the fantastic property! Host was extremely nice and communicative. Its a short walk to the coliseum and the subway to het to the rest of the city. There is a supermarket and cafe right accross the street for everything you need. And the terrace was great to sit in the morning for coffee or a glass of wine with friends. 100% recommend this spot for everyone.. will be back if/when we come to Rome again!

Rooftop Terrace

Great location. Very clean. Beds super comfortable. Fit our family of 5 perfectly! Simple and close walk to the Metro station. Loved this place!

We loved this apartment. We spent 3 nights here between cruises and it was perfect for us. Host was wonderful with excellent communication. Large place. Well decorated. Everything you would need. The AC worked well and was needed to escape the hot Rome summer afternoons. The large terrace was a great place to hang out in the evenings. Easy walk to a number of restaurants and the Colosseum. Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful view from the roof patio!

This penthouse was trendy, clean and it had a great rooftop space! Ideal spot away from the touristy area. You are a 10 min walk to the Colosseum and you can see it from the rooftop. There’s a great cafe right across the street. Property Manager is very attentive. I’d highly recommend.

Best host and place ever!

This was such a blessing for us during the three days prior to our cruise. The VRBO is absolutely lovely with great working AC:) We had six of us (two adults, two 18 year olds, 16 year old and 7 year old and it was great. The host was amazing and helped schedule three different transfers for us. The unit is walkable to restaurants and shops. I have already recommended this unit to several friends!

Loved the location and the outside area

The location of the property was perfect for us. While it wasn’t in the heart of Rome, it was close to the Colosseum, close to a bus stop (less than 5 minutes) and close to metro lines (A and B). It allowed us to be away from the crowds and still see everything we wanted to in Rome. The hosts were flexible with check in (which was great since we arrived early morning) and arranged a car for us from the airport. The hosts were also nice enough to change the bed to 2 singles for our kids (original set up was one bed). The outside area was great. You could sit and read a book or just enjoy the view. It also made it easy to check the weather every morning. They also had a kitchen with everything you need including an espresso machine. We would definitely stay there again.

From the start to the end nothing but professionalism on everything. Stefano and Francesca are the best :) The apartment met all our expectations. Great location especially with the little "speakeasy" directly across the street. Even our driver they sent us was Excellent. I really can't say one negative about this experience. Our stay at this penthouse flat in Rome was just perfect. The owner was in communication with us during the booking process and throughout our stay. They even arranged a private car to pick us up from the airport and bring us to the flat for a surprisingly low cost. This was my husband's first time in Europe, and he had some trepidation prior to arriving. Any anxiety he had was wiped away as soon as we stepped into this beautiful flat. It was a very comfortable temperature thanks to the AC, which was definitely needed due to the heatwave in Rome at the time. The flat had an authentic charm to it that you can't find in most places, and it really felt like a home away from home. The entire place was spacious, immaculate, and the beds were very comfortable. My favorite part of this penthouse rental was the massive terrace. It was a delight to sit back and relax with a nice bottle of Italian Chardonnay and a charcuterie board while taking in the incredible views of the Colosseum. If you're scrolling through available places to stay for your trip to Rome and you see this flat is available, I highly recommend you decide to stay here because you will not be disappointed.

A beautiful apt in an amazing city

I booked this VRBO well in advance of our stay for our cruise out of Rome in Sept 2024. It had wonderful reviews and beautiful pictures and I can honestly say it lived up to those reviews! I communicated a few times with Stefano prior to our visit and each time he responded quickly and answered all my questions. Stefano offered to send a driver to pick us up from the airport and we appreciated the gesture and took him up on the offer. Our flight was arriving early in the morning and Stefano was very accommodating so we wouldn't have to worry about our luggage so we could immediately begin our sightseeing. A day or two before our arrival, Stefano's wife, Francesca, sent me a message via whatsapp to make sure I had her contact info and to let me know she was available for anything I needed. The apt. was clean and was as described with that beautiful balcony and view of the Colosseum. We had everything we needed from hairdryer, to washing machine, to soap, to plates and cups and blankets. Air conditioning was very sufficient. The lift up to the apartment is nice and the big front door to the building is beautiful. Shower was spacious and the beds were comfortable. We absolutely would stay here again in the future and recommend it to anyone looking to feel like a "local" and be close to the Colosseum and within a short walking distance to the Metro as well!

Could not have been more perfect!

Francesca and Stephano’s apartment MADE our stay in Rome and Francesca’s thoughtfulness and kindness is what you hope for in a host when you book VRBO. The terrace is absolutely fantastic. It is so spacious and well-appointment (with different seating areas, including one that’s covered if it showers); it became our main living area. We felt connected to the city even if we “stayed in”. Everything is super clean, details are well thought out, there are extras of things you might need (pillows, blankets), and the apartment is homey without feeling cluttered. It feels clean and spacious but welcoming. The apartment is well positioned. A small supermarket across the street; the Colosseum just down the street; bus and tram lines right there with subway nearby; Via Meraluna is nearby and is lovely to stroll at night and is full of restaurants and shops; between the apt and the Colosseum, the streets are full of restaurants….the whole area is lively but not loud. There’s also an excellent bike rental shop just down from the apartment…Top Bike Rentals. Very convenient. We cannot say enough about Francesca as a host! She is patient and kind, explains everything clearly, is available for questions if you need her…..she is just absolutely lovely. The perfect VRBO host. Francesca, thank you so much for everything! Just perfect in all respects

Thoughtful & caring: We had a special request (a study book sent to the apartment from Amazon). The package arrived all destroyed, so Francesca & Stefano just quickly ordered the same book for us and it was there the next day. We wanted to share this example to show how thoughtful and caring they are. Check in process and communication: Just perfect. Very quick in response both before or during our stay, and upon checkin we were greeted by Francesca already in the garage and went to the apartment together, which is a nice experience, you don't stand in the street looking to access an apartment. Equipment & cleanliness: As other reviewers have already pointed out, the apartment is spotless clean and very well thought through - it has everything you need, you can truly feel at home. Quietness: Excellent, both bedrooms are very quiet, you hear very little noise from the street (and we are unfortunaltey pretty noise sensitive). The house is quiet too (plus a well insulated entrance door). Terrasse: One of the highlights, make sure to get one sunrise and/or a sunset - the pictures from the Colosseo and surroundings taken from the terrasse are a beautiful opportunity. Parking: You can either park in the streets for free or just 20 meters away in the garage. This is EUR 50 a day (for a full 24 hours), but they are excellent. We will definitely be back.
