Large chic 2 BR on the river

Very European. Beautiful hardwood floors. A lift (elevator) made of decorative iron. Can walk out lower level in back to restaurants, etc. Main front level faces River. Very secure.

Great Location!

We had a great stay in Rome at Maison Cloe, it was the perfect location for us, close to everything we wanted to do and see. Ramin was great to deal with, very quick to respond. Would definitely stay there again on our next visit to the great city of Rome. Loved the old fashioned elevator in the building and enjoyed dinner at Alfredo's around the corner.

Great location in Rome

Location was key for choosing this place. Easy 10-15 minute walk to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, St Peter’s Basilica; 25-30 minute walk to the Vatican Museums & Colosseum. The street outside is very busy, but we knew that ahead of time. The apartment itself is quite large with plenty of room for our family of 5. The bathrooms are small, but there are 2. The balcony was lovely, but still a bit cool in March. The unit does show its age, but served its purpose. Host communication was 10/10.

Perfect location

Fabulous location and really easy checking in. Only comment is that due to the proximity of the road there is quite a lot of road noise on the balcony- but you can’t have everything!

This condo is in an excellent location and the host was very good at communication. Washer in the unit was a great addition. The beds could be a little more comfortable as they are a bit too soft but overall a good stay.

The apartment was clean and spacious. The caretaker Ramin did anything he could to help us including setting up ride service to and from airport and giving us a list of good restaurants in the area. I’d stay here again!!

Great location, but not perfect.

Although Maison Cloe is close to many of Rome’s wonderful sights, there are also some disappointing aspects that we encountered. The largest bedroom was comfortable except for the street light that shone onto the head of the bed at night with no option to cover the light and the noise from traffic made it difficult to sleep at times. Our friends in the smaller bedroom complained of leaking from the shower in their bathroom requiring more towels than provided. They also reported that there were items left in the drawers but not enough space to remove them. I also got locked out of the apartment the first day there because the instructions regarding how to handle the key were unclear.Otherwise, the apartment was tidy and had a well appointed kitchen and living area. The balcony was also nice, although the noise from the traffic was a bit disturbing.

Great trip in Roma!

The property was very nice, clean, and in a great location next to the Tiber river but easy 10-15 walk to Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain and tons of restaurants, etc. We loved having the balcony! Ramin was very communicative and coordinated an airport driver for us as well. Everything went extremely smoothly, I would book it again! Thank you Ramin!

Ramin the pretty manager was really helpful and quick to provide and information we needed, even giving us some good options for restaurants to try. The accommodation was perfect, within walking distance to all main tourist attractions. Both rooms were en-suite so were perfect for what we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the small balcony was good for a morning coffee. Definitely would stay here again.

Central location, walking distance to everything. We were able to walk to the Trevi fountain, Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, Pantheon etc. Ramin is a great host and his suggestions were spot on. Would definitely stay again when in Rome.

This was the perfect location and the flat was delightful. Our host was helpful in booking transportation and local restaurants to try. A grocery and ATM are very close. Highly recommend.

Rome vacation

The description of the apartment were accurate. The apartment security and building was clean and beautiful. It is as stated on a busy road next to the river. The view was beautiful. The street was busy and a little noisy. The windows and doors did muffle the sound a bit. ( bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise at night) The location was great. Walking distance to everything. Vatican was the furthest a 25 minute walk. Very clean and the host was very gracious. Overall a great stay. Enjoyed by us all!

Lovely Location & Good Communication

We really appreciated the owners help in arranging a car from the airport to the apartment and location recommendations. The location is ideal as the porch overlooks the river & city and you can quickly walk to the Vatican or see other key sites in Rome. We have a family of five, and it worked out fine with two children in one bed and another child on the pullout bed in the living room. There was two bathrooms, which also made it very nice. I would highly recommend this VRBO to someone visiting Rome.

Central location on Tiber in Heart of Rome

Easy to contact manager. Very helpful with suggestions in local area. 10 minutes to Spanish Steps, Pantheon, 20 minute walk to Vatican. Host provided lovely welcome basket. Well stocked kitchen, split bedrooms, 2 baths, simple clean furnishings. We would stay again. Thank you!

Great apartment for a classic Roman Holiday

Classic, older style apartment which is centrally located. It’s exactly where you want to be to get the best food in the city. centrally located from the major tourist spots, piazzas, and about a mile or so from Termini station. The apartment was clean and big enough for a small family, very secure building and visible location for safety. If you’re looking for modern conveniences and features, This place may not be for, but if your goal is to experience typical Roman life, this place is for you. Enjoy!

5 Star Review!!!

Our stay in the heart of historic Rome was incredible and the location was only part of the great experience. Situated along the banks of the Tiber River looking across toward the Castle and the heart of the Vatical City, each sunset was breathtaking. Additionally, the two bedroom apartment had such a cute balcony that we were able to enjoy our morning coffee and evening wine/snacks. The location was perfect, no historic site was more than a 30 mintue walk-and within 15 minutes almost 90% of the city's treasures were in walking distance. We walked to everything, it was so easy to get around. There are so many phenomenal food and drink options so close to the apartment. Along with the desirable location was the first-rate treatment by Ramine, as he always was responsive and provided us with so many incredible recommendations as far as restaurants and activities. He recommended a restaurant that ended up being the entire groups favorite meal. Regardless of the request, he was always spot-on, hat's off to Ramine and for his efforts in even assisting with the ride coordination back to the airport on our departure day. We would choose this location and management team again in a second and would not hesitate to recommend to our family and friends! Thank you again Ramine for your hospitality, you made our trip that much more amazing.

Great host and location, not for a clean freak

1. Ramin was wonderful. Could not have a better host and I have traveled a lot. He went the extra mile many times and almost always responded within minutes. 2. Location is perfect. Could walk easily to most sights in the center of the historic district. 3. Owner lives in building and worked well with Ramin to correct any problems. Even gave us some of his special olive oil and salt to enjoy while we were there. 4. It has a new Bosch dishwasher, a good washing machine (but no rack to dry clothes so we had to hang on hangers to dry), good appliances in the kitchen and plenty of nice white dishes. 5. BUT the building is very old and the apt. needs a deep cleaning/painting. Walls are nicked and dirty, construction work not well done (e.g., the hardwood floors have gaps between the floors and the walls and no baseboards, and there are several steps up and down within the apt. that are pretty well marked but can pose serious hazards). In going from the second bedroom's bathroom to the kitchen, there are 4 steps that blend very well with the flooring and could be missed. Also, the master bathroom is VERY small, but the second bath is a good size. Small bedroom could use a new bureau. 5) I am a clean freak and this is not a good apartment for a clean freak. 6) I have stayed in much better apartments in Rome that are less expensive.
