GREAT location, very nice place. A/C in excellent working conditions, which was wonderful given the terrible heat in Rome in summer. It is clean, cozy, helpful staff, and with lots of walkable nice places around to eat and shop. The train station is practically across the street, and the Vatican is really close, .

A lovely stay in a great location. We felt very secure with multiple doors to unlock before getting into the room, and staff on reception until around 9pm. The room was clean and the pillows were comfy. The bins were emptied and the bed made every day which was a nice bonus. Staff were very kind to my little boy and gifted him a notebook and pen which he loved! They also watched our luggage for us for several hours after check out. The hubbub of the bakery in the courtyard downstairs added to the experience! The location was excellent - Ottaviano metro and the buses are very handy, and it's an easy walk to the supermarket (Tuday Conad), market, and Via Ottaviano which has a Castroni, Grom and usual souvenirs. The Vatican is also within walking distance. There is a fabulous local cafe on the corner (Caffe Di Gulio Cesare?) with gorgeous fresh food and a wonderful owner. Overall, we would definitely stay at Hotel Silla again!
