Great no-frills Stay in Rome

As usual Hoel Panda didn’t disappoint. Perfectly located (a short walk from Piazza de Spagna) we enjoyed our 3-night stay. Helpful and friendly staff.

The hotel is in one of the best areas of Rome, quite near to the Piazza de Spagna and within the neighbourhood of restaurants and shoppings. Simple and affordable hotel, with very good (clean, confortable, with AC) rooms which is a wondeful opotion for those who want to visit Rome and not spend much time at the hotel :).

Great location at an affordable rate, a little dated with limited facilities, but we don't hang around the hotel, so no problem for us. Overall very happy and would recommend to those that prefer location and only use hotel to sleep in. It was very quiet considering location.

The rooms were small but adequate. The staff was PHENOMENAL, always friendly and quite helpful. Area is excellent, quite walkable (for those who can walk a few miles on uneven cobblestones, but that's part of visiting Rome in any case). Lots of nearby restaurant and shopping options.

Very convenient location to the attractions with many restaurants right at the door. It's an old building, and you have to take stairs to the rooms. The staffs are very nice, and the rooms are very clean with towel change every 2 days. But the rooms are small with limited space for luggages. The breakfast is VERY simply, so don't expect much. No bottle waters, no coffee machine, no refrigerator, no microwave, etc.

Great budget stay.

We booked last minute, so we cannot complain. It was great budget stay, a bit out-dated decor but it was not an issue as we were there to explore. Hotel provided vouchers for breakfast at next door restaurant. It was amazing. Receptionists were friendly and polite. Great location, plenty of restaurants around. 30min walk to main tourist attractions.

Friendly little hotel near Spanish Steps

Hotel Panda is a budget hotel in a great location in Rome. It's not much more than a stone's throw from the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain is just a little way from that. I actually walked everywhere in Rome from Hotel Panda, but you could easily use the metro, as I believe there is a station not far away. The staff member I met on my stay was incredibly friendly and that made for a nice welcome. The room was clean and reasonably spacious, if a little worn in places, and the bed was comfy (especially the pillows - where did they get those pillows?). The immediate area is nice enough, if a little noisy early in the morning, as all the businesses start their day. I understand you can get a voucher for a breakfast at a cafe next door to the hotel, but I never partook. It wasn't available until 8 and I was up and about by then (Rome is crowded and best to beat the crowds). The wi-fi was perfectly fine and the staff member I met let me have an adaptor for Italian plugs, which I hadn't realised were different from most European ones. Would use this hotel again, if I'm ever back in Rome.

I had a great time at Hotel Panda. It’s in the middle of Rome, and there is so much shopping and so many sights within walking distance. The hotel itself is perfect; my room was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. I will definitely be back!
