Hotel Amalfi is an excellent find! The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent and included in the nightly rate. Great location - near one of the great basilicas and the main rome train station. Air conditioning is lacking a bit but the rooms are very nice and spacious. The hotel staff is very friendly and try to help. The location is quiet and safe. A very family friendly hotel.

This place was perfect for us. Less than a block away from Santi Mary Maggiore and walkable distance to the Coliseum.and Forum. Then, you can walk everywhere you'd like. The hotel.itself was great. Breakfast had regular american breakfast items plus italian options. Loved our stay there.

Near Termini and in the historic district. Lovely ceiling and wall paintings. Great staff. Good breakfasts and bar. I had my own outside patio but there was a lovely patio terrace upstairs where you could sit and have drinks. I'd go back.
