The staff were professional, personable and very helpful. All of our questions were answered and they kindly informed us about local holiday celebrations. The property is unique, clean and welcoming. The location is highly walkable with multiple restaurants, coffee shops and local shops.

This was my third stay here and it’s always been really nice. The convenience of everything within walking distance is really nice. The staff were amazing but I just hope the couple that was staying next to us are doing better after a weekend of domestic violence.

The hotel is beautiful inside and very nicely decorated for the holidays. Front desk agent introduced us to the hotel as a first time guest. Expedia or hotel is miss advertising complimentary breakfast. It is not! Dissapointed. No adjustment on room bill. The bar and restaurant area is very nice and service is great. Hotel room is very spacious and bed is nice.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The extended stay was clean, great area, lots of space, great restaurant and bar area. The only issues I had was the room was not soundproof, I could hear the people beside very clear in the bathroom, the pipes are exposed, and the sink took a long time getting hot. Positives include: make-up face clothes, extra hanger provided as I asked, bathrobes, and friendly staff.

The Hawthorn is a beautiful, old building in downtown Rome. It is in the perfect location, in walking distance to many shops, restaurants and bars. It's also just a quick drive to the Barry College Tennis Center.

Room & property were clean and in the perfect location! There were so many things close by, just a 2-10 minute walk away as well as a nice little path by the river. My only complains would be that the pillows on the bed were SO uncomfortable, to the point where my neck was almost completely stiff by the end of our stay, the couch was very stiff & uncomfortable also, there were no silveware of any kind and we had a suite with a kitchenette so that would have been much appreciated. Aside from those things though, this was a great stay and very welcoming staff. I would stay were again, just with my own pillow! stuff,
