Sweet little apartment in the middle of lively Trastevere

We had 3 wonderful days in Rome in a great neighborhood in perfect walking distance to the sights, we wanted to see.

Great location for dining. Ends there.

Great location to restaurants, bars and nightlife. That’s where the pros end. The cons are long. The air conditioning worked awful at best. Then it didn’t work at all. We text the owner and no response. It was over 90 degrees with 75% humidity. Noisy, yelling from patrons until 4-5am. Then the garbage trucks start. Can’t open windows due to noise. We contacted the owner again and told him we had no choice but to check out and get a hotel a day early. He said he’d be by to check the air condition. No response until we finally left at 4 pm for hotel. After we were gone he text “it’s working now”. Our experience, when it did turn on, it would shut off again within 3 minutes and wouldn’t work again. We asked to be refunded for our last night and of course we didn't hear from him again. Internet was slow. The lack of air conditioning working properly (and at all) and lack of response are inexcusable for this “Super Host” Not our experience of this owner!

Wonderful location, small but cozy

We loved our stay and the location was very central to everything. The apartment is small as we are a family of 4, but it felt cozy and had everything we needed. My only complaint, and for us it ended up to be a bit of a problem since we have to do a little work while on the road, was the lack of internet. To get any service, we had to huddle around a tiny corner of the apartment. The property manager is well aware of this issue but has yet to resolve.
