Tiny but mighty apartment in Rome

This is a lovely small apartment right down the street from the Coliseum and other historical points. We had three people stay - any more than four could be tight. Owner arranged a ride from the airport - train station is also close. Lots of food options nearby. Very clean and well organized. We had one electrical issue and the owner IMMEDIATELY responded and helped us. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Not a good experience

Sorry Isaac, you seem like a nice person but this place needs work. The owner and his collegue were very good at communication until we had a question. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the shower so sent a short message asking for guidance. We ended up washing up in the one tiny sink. 6 hours later we finally got a reply. This apartment has a musty smell, it is very damp and there is mold on the ceiling. The bathroom is almost not functional and needs a deep clean or a complete renovation. The beds are lumpy and cause you to roll to the edge. While the location to attractions is great, the garbage bins are right outside the front door and is picked up at 4:30 am. I suppose you get what you pay for but I would advise finding other accommodations.

Bon emplacement mais appartement pas entretenu

Emplacement au top mais malheureusement l’appartement était sale ! Les murs blancs étaient immaculés de taches (dégouliné dans la chambre du bas près du lit) des mouchoirs usagés sont entre le mur et le lit, cuisine dans un placard, canapé sale ( vu avec l’agent immobilier qui a pris une photo) et pour terminer toute petite sale de bain avec wc qui demanderait d’être refait : les joints de la douche à refaire ainsi que la plomberie Électricité proximité des points d’eau dangereuse. Pas de volets au fenêtre donc jamais dans le noir Dommage !!

Great location

This is a great location very close to the Colosseum. It is in a very cute little neighborhood with little grocery store, bakery and several little restaurants. We had 5 people in our group and it was very good as far as a home base for our excursions. It is a fairly small apartment but I think that is not unusual for the city. They were very helpful in setting up transportation for the airport. This was our first time in Italy so that was a great help. We ended up using Uber a lot when we were there but during busy times, it is not always easy to get one for 5 people. The only down side to us was the bathroom was very small and the shower was not great. There was not enough hot water for more than 2 people taking a shower. That being said, the rest of the apartment was very comfortable for us. Our 2 girls really liked the loft that over looked the living room. The main room on the 1st floor was comfortable. Our son slept on the couch and it is not a truly "pull out couch" but it served the purpose. Overall, we really liked the apartment based on the location.
