A brand-new awesome 70-squared meters flat with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and one living room with kitchen, just 10 minutes walking from San Pietro Basilica. It is easily connected with both the airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino) and the main train station in Rome (Termini) as it is 2 minutes walking from San Pietro train station.
The flat is located at the last (third) floor of one building equipped with elevator.
The 2 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with AC, automatized rolling shutter and cupboards. One of the bedroom is furnished with old Venetian style furniture while the other with more linear and modern furniture. Both the bedrooms have their own bathrooms, equipped with box. However, while one of the bedrooms has the bathroom attached, the other has the bathroom after the living room.
The living room has a smart TV, a dining table and a small (2 induction stoves) but well equipped kitchen, with dish washer, oven and obviously the fridge. AC is also available in the living room. From the living room you can also access a small balcony, where there is a small coffe table for 2 where you can have your breakfast or simply chill.
In the living room there is also a comfortable couch bed where an additional guest or 2 children can sleep (cm 140 matress size).
Washing machine is not available but as I live next door I am happy to wash your laundry for you.
WI-FI is also provided.
Please note that both the bathrooms do not have the "bidet" but have WC-bidet instead. I am saying this especially for Italians as this is something they normally want.
Basic items such as oil, vinaigrette, salt, sugar, coffee, washing soap and dish washer soap will be provided.
The area is extremely central and very well-connected, with bus and trains. If you enjoy walking, you can easily take a nice stroll to San Pietro Basilica and Colonnato (10 minutes), Castle Sant'Angelo (15 minutes), Vatican Museums (15 minutes), the lively neighborhood of Trastevere (25 minutes) and the rest of the city center (20 minutes, depending of where you have to go). However, if you are not big fans of strolls, you can easily move around with public means of transportations. I will leave in the house leaflets and materials about Rome and going around in Rome, as well as info on restaurants which are worth going.
In the immediate locations of the house, there is a nice 24/7 supermarket (Carrefour), a pharmacy and everything else you may need.
Once the booking is confirmed, I will share with you information on how to get to my place.
It is not possible to smoke in the flat, but you can use the balcony for that.
PLEASE NOTE that tourist tax will have to paid on cash upon arrival and it will amount to 3.50 Euros per person per day.
ITALIAN:
The 70 square meter apartment located in the San Pietro district in Rome has been recently renovated to make it modern and comfortable, both for couples and for families or groups of friends.
It is extremely convenient to reach and well connected as San Pietro station, literally two minutes walk from the apartment, has frequent connections with both Rome airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino) and also the main railway station of the city, Termini .
The apartment is located on the third and top floor of a small building and has an elevator.
There are two spacious and well ventilated bedrooms (matriomonials), equipped with air conditioning and automatic shutters. One room is furnished with Venetian-style furniture, while the other has a more linear and modern design. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower (not tub) and one you have two has a curtain instead of the box. While one bedroom has a bathroom practically attached, the other has a slightly more "distant" bathroom, as there is a living room in the middle.
The bathrooms also, for space requirements, have a toilet.
In the living room there is a smart TV, a dining table, a small induction kitchen (2 burners) but well equipped (45 cm dishwasher, oven, fridge). In the living room there is also a very comfortable sofa bed, with a seat for three people. The sofa becomes a bed with a simple gesture and the mattress (length 140 cm, thickness 14 cm, a French bed and a half in practice) can accommodate an adult or two children.
The living room also leads to a small but lovely terrace on which there is a coffee table for two people.
The living room is also air conditioned.
The whole apartment is equipped with high-speed WI-FI.
I will leave stocks of oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, coffee, dish soap, and body soap in the apartment.
The area, as already mentioned, is extremely central: if you love taking walks, you can reach the following places in a few minutes on foot: the Basilica of San Pietro and Bernini's colonnade (10 minutes), Castel Sant'Angelo (15 minutes ), Vatican Museums (15 minutes), the Trastevere district (25 minutes) and the rest of the center (20-30 minutes, it depends on where exactly you want to go). If, on the other hand, you don't feel like walking, you can easily visit all these places and others, using public transport, such as buses and urban trains.
I will leave in the house brochures and tourist information material on Rome and how to move in addition to some references of restaurants that are worth visiting (in my opinion ☺).
In the immediate vicinity of the house, there is a Carrefour super market open 24 hours, a pharmacy and other main shops that you may need.
Once the booking is confirmed, I will share the details with you to get to my house in the most congenial and most comfortable way.
Just as I will do my best to guarantee you a pleasant stay, I will kindly ask you to respect the normal rules of good conduct in respect of the other condominiums living in the building, such as avoiding loud noises after 10 pm and to speak in a low voice when you go up the stairs or take the elevator.
It is not possible to smoke in the apartment, however you can do it on the balcony.
The Tourist Tax is not included in the room price. It must be paid in cash and separately on arrival. This corresponds to € 3.50 per person per day, as per the regulation of the Municipality of Rome.
