COLOSSEUM TERRACE DELUXE APARTMENT - 6 PEOPLE

300 meters from the Colosseum, penthouse apartment consisting of three double bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a furnished 30-square-meter panoramic terrace with frontal views of the city and side views of the Colosseum. The terrace is enclosed by a curtain with a large panoramic window. The terrace has the glass window open in summer and closed in winter. There is also warm air conditioning in winter when the panoramic window is closed.
There are a total of 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in the penthouse. Two double rooms are 15 square meters with en suite bathrooms and one double room is 10 square meters with a private bathroom next to the room.
Each room is furnished with custom-made wooden furniture and has Smart TV, wifi, air conditioning. The bathrooms were redone in 2020. The kitchen has an oven, microwave, kettle, refrigerator and washing machine.
The area is quiet and very close to the Colosseum, located at the end of the street and full of restaurants, bars, stores and supermarkets.
The metro (line A Manzoni Station, Line B Colosseum Station) is 300 meters.

We had a lovely holiday staying in this apartment , it is in a great location only ten minutes walk to the colosseum and close to a metro station . The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed , we especially liked the terrace . There is a cafe next door selling lovely fresh pastries and many authentic restaurants within a ten minute walk. The communication from the representatives was excellent and they were very helpful. We would thoroughly recommend straying here .

The apartment was quiet and each room in the apartment was quiet. We loved sitting on the terrace/watching the colors change - sunrise, sunset, etc. We loved our stay!!

We stayed with our eldest (adult) child over new year for 4 days. The bedrooms were large and clean with plenty of storage and the bathrooms very clean.We didn’t use the kitchen beyond making a hot drink but there were facilities to cook if we had wanted. The heating was efficient and the apartment warm. We didn’t use the balcony room though as it was was a little chilly. It would be wonderful when warmer.The hosts arranged our transfers to and from the airport which was incredibly convenient and the option to store our luggage on our last day was also very useful. We also liked having the Virtual key on an app rather than having to carry around keys all day.The location was fantastic, less than a 10 minute walk from the Colloseum. The hosts also recommended some great local restaurants and we tried a couple, the food was excellent and a great price too. I would recommend this apartment for a short stay. The hosts also left us some Prosecco as a welcome which we didn’t get around to drinking, but it was a lovely touch.

Nice place and well located. The patio is nice but unfortunately the glass doors can't be used. Lots of mosquitos so the main seating area was not ideal. Otherwise the place is great.

We stayed here for a week at the end of March and were very pleased. Communication was fantastic. The apartment was clean and extremely comfortable for our family of 4. It was great for us to all have our own space after long days of walking and exploring Rome. I highly recommend asking the owners to arrange transportation to and from the airport, it made things so easy, especially upon arrival. The location is within walking distance to so many sights and the metro station is only a 10-15 minute walk away. There are so many wonderful restaurants to choose from within a 10 minute walk. The view from the terrace was beautiful. Thank you for a fabulous stay for our first trip to Italy!

Property is average. Photos are definitely staged to make it appear larger and brighter than it is in reality. I was very turned off by the continuous video monitoring INSIDE the property. We have stayed in multiple VRBO locations throughout Italy and the world and have never encountered this. Overall, “fine” but definitely not a place I would look to return to.

Giuseppe's place is beautifully decorated, spacious, and has a lovely patio. Giuseppe is a fantastic host, he is very communicative, and helpful. He oriented us to the city, helped us find the metro stations, he is a wealth of information when it comes to visiting sites and when and how. He was incredibly helpful in arranging transportation for us and is very quick to respond to questions! The location is not central to Rome itself...it is central to the Ancient Rome portion of the city but it is south of the Colosseum. Rome is incredibly large so using the metro is required and this apartment is central to two metro stations which is very helpful. Also of note, there is a refrigerator but it is not a full size fridge, he has mini-fridge's in each room which is quite handy actually but not if you are planning on cooking meals and purchasing groceries - it is ideal however, for cool beverages after a long day of sight seeing in the summer heat. The apartment has plenty of charging outlets by the beds, a safe, and places to hang your clothing. We wish we had more time to enjoy the patio which is incredibly pretty. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

We had an excellent stay. They had great communication and helped with transfers. If you take a transfer from the airport, just know you may need to walk outside the airport to find your driver. Took us a while to find him but then all was good. Each of the three bedrooms had an air conditioner. Loved that so we each could set to our own temperature. Hot water heater was replaced before we arrived. Worked perfectly! Plenary of hot water. And the water was good to drink. And across the street is one of Romes street water fountains with cold water. Delicious! No American coffee pot but we made due with coffee and filters we brought from home. There is a small perculator coffe pot that makes one serving. Washing mashing took some time to learn but was nice to have. We used many times and their is a nice drying rack. I recommend bringing your own shampoo, soap and conditioner hair dryer worked great! It was on the edge of the tourist area. Many in the building were residents. Loved that. And if you made a right turn out of the apartments you ended up in a non touristy restaurant and if you keep walking there are more. Just know you are not close to attractions (except Colosseum) but taxis are cheap.

Great apartment, exactly as pictured. It was actually a bit larger than I expected so that was a nice surprise. Also much quieter than expected since it overlooks the street. No noise really reached us. It is very much a neighborhood - not a touristy area at all yet you can easily walk to the Colosseum. Hosts always replied to my questions promptly leading up to our stay. Would not hesitate to stay here again. There's a wonderful cafe right next door for breakfast. Don't bother going to the one on the corner, the one next door is better and friendlier. Several other restaurants at the end of the block as well. We didn't try them but they are right there if you want something close. Note that there isn't really a good place for cars to stop long to pick you up so take care if coordinating a pick up. We did it every day - sometimes twice a day - without too many issues. You just need to be downstairs on time. Coordinate with your driver and it will work.
