Good stay

Quick overnight stay. Good spot & easy check in out process. Make sure you organise check in time/details in advance. Breakfast was very limited & simple, packaged food etc.

We were greeted by the owner. She was nice and explained all the details to us, including parking. The rooms are on the 3rd floor but the elevator goes to 3.5 so you need to carry your luggage down the stairs. Our room looks clean but at bed time, I noticed both the blanket and the pillows smell bad even with clean sheet and pillow cases. You can also hear everything going on next door (shower, hair dryer and talking). The hotel does have a very convenient location, quick walk to the Colosseum.

장점 1. 수압 좋음 2. 아침으로 객실에 초코빵과 바게트 , 잼 , 커피가 구비 돼 있음 3. 마트 1분 거리에 있음 단점 1. 비행기 지연연착으로 숙소 늦게 도착했는데 추가요금이 있었음 2. 객실에 큰벌레는 아니지만 작은벌레가 있었음 3. 커피포트 , 전자렌지 , 커피기계 , 토스트기 2개 이상 사용시 누전됨 (이건 로마 전지역 건물이 낡아서 그렇다고 함)

Loistavalla paikalla ihan Colosseumin lähellä. Henkilökunta mukavaa. Aamupala ei ollut aamupala, tarjolla oli muutama eri marmeladi, pussissa olevat croisantit ja pari kuivatettua paahtoleivän tyyppistä leipää. Kahvia sai itse keitellä kun halusi. Kuljetuspalvelu ei tullessa tahtonut oikein toimia, mutta se ei ollut majoitusliikkeet vika, vaan kuskillakin ei ollut minkäänlaista lappua josta olisimme voineet hänet tunnistaa. Useamman puhelun jälkeen majoitusliikkeen omistaja sai kuskin ja meidät kohtaamaan kentällä ja päästiin perille. Huone oli siisti ja tarvittaessa omistaja olisi auttanut etukäteislippujen varaamisen kanssa Colosseumille ja muille nähtävyyksille. Mukava paikka ja ilmapiiri, mutta oma aamupala kannattaa varata (yhteinen jääkaappi ja pakastin tarjolla).

Super hospitality!

The owners (a married couple) were incredibly nice and helpful. We needed to store our luggage after arriving in the morning, then an evening flight on departure, and they were very accommodating. Also gave us tips on where to eat, and even helped carry our bags out at the end of our stay. The room & bathroom were very clean and it was a pleasant place. The one complaint is we could smell cigarette smoke in our room quite strongly because of people smoking on other floors of the building (not at Laurus Colosseo), even with our balcony doors closed. But that's environmental, not something the owners have any control over. Otherwise all good!

Nice B&B and close to Coliseum.

Nice stay with B&B Laurus Colosseo. Room is nice enough for two. Breakfast is very simple.Checking in was easy. If you are lucky, you may find a free parking spot, if not, there is a car garage right in front of the building. Air conditioner is not working properly - can be hard during the hot summer days. Overall, it was a nice stay in Rome! A short 5mins walk to COLISEUM!

COns If you are traveling with family with your kids this is not the place to go , once we arrive there was nobody there we had to wait for 20 min outside this building in the rain , once someone got there they told us we won’t be able to stay because we had a 4year old child. They told us some lies about that those where the rule in Italy , they they change the story to tell us it was because the room wasn’t safe for children, then because they had a 200 years carpet. The real reason was because they are concerned a child may damage something on their property. After some talk with the property management and Expedia they decided to let us stay, we had to convince them we will not be really much time there anyways. They try to make up for their mistakes and bacame helpful they even brought some cars for my son to play after the matter. Also the elevator starts on the second floor be aware if you are traveling with a wheel chair. Pros The property is clean and pretty nice, the room is spacious, the location is excellent. I recommend for Adults traveling with no Kids.

Great Location, some shortfalls

Hotels.com website which is one of the avenues that B&B Laurus books through was unclear and insinuated that the property had airport transfer included, which is not the case. The location was excellent as you are within throwing distance of many sights, such as the Colosseum. The unit was very nice. Do not expect much of breakfast, it is not an actual breakfast more like a morning snack.
