"The hotel is showing it's age. The room was clean and comfortable. Couldn't figure out the remote for the TV or the room heater controls. Drain was slow in the bathroom sink. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. The room exceeded our initial expectations."

"We had the best time ever. The location can't be beat! The neighbors, the Johnson's, are the BEST! We stayed on the hottest week ever and the central air was AMAZING! The open floor concept allows you to see the LAKE from the kitchen straight through the living room! The deck was our favorite spot to be with all of the huge shade trees . The back yard was a huge bonus for us to park plenty of cars and our boat trailer. The fishing was great! The farmer's market was fun with lots of fun treats to buy within walking distance. Our favorite restaurant was Lakeside Tavern. Again, we walked there. Delicious food, the French fries can't be beat, and the chicken and wild rice soup is THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I have always enjoyed the Detroit Lakes area! We are definitely coming back and look forward to staying here again!"

"We had an excellent stay. The cabin location is really nice. The street isn’t super busy, and it’s a lovely neighborhood. It was ungodly hot during our stay so we did spend most of our stay indoors. The amenities were well thought out. We especially loved some of the vintage books, and the very nice smart TV. Everything is updated and functional. The hosts were very easy to work with and were great at communicating. It’s absolutely somewhere we would stay at in the future!"
