"Fantastic value in a beautiful location. The restaurant was very good and clearly popular with locals. Overall staff were friendly but one slightly less so which we put down to lack of confidence in using English. It’s a steep walk if you are coming from the tram stop!"

"Building is absolutely beautiful and in good condition. Rooms are clean and perfunctory. Pillows a little crappy, but the vibe overall is fab. The front desk staff are particularly delightful, and it really does affect ones stay. The grounds are fun to explore, and you can really feel the history. Plus I do love some original wainscoting and old world wooden elements that are property preserved."

"It was our first time at this Palace. Beautiful place with wonderful amenities and great staff. We had a room in a Palce which was very clea, big and very nicely decorated. Food in the restaurants was delicious. The best breakfast we had so far. We used their swimming pool and sauna to relax. Highly recommend."
