"We loved our stay here. The property was comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed, but the location is really what it is all about! Fabulous sea and cliff views, great walking, and a perfect spot to explore the Seven Sisters. We were staying to run the Beachy Head marathon nearby but would happily return to explore the area more. "Generally a good property, excellent location, great shower and kitchen. We had the unfortunate timing of being there during the on the Beach music festival which was directly across from the flat and as you can imagine the music was quite loud. Beware the washing machine as it is riddled with black mold and mildew rendering it unusable."

"If you want to get away from it all & enjoy the peace of the Sussex countryside the Cart Lodge is perfect. Great little cottage, which is well equipped & in a good location to explore East Sussex. The sheep in the field are great fun, demanding their biscuits as you sit & enjoy the sun. Thanks Nina for a great week"

"Cedar Lodge was exactly what we were looking for and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The accommodation was clean, cosy and very well equipped and the hosts Caroline and Neil were very welcoming. The comments in the visitors book showed that many people have visited here several times and feel itâ€™s the best holiday home they have stayed in. The location is very quiet and the view from the deck is beautiful. I wouldnâ€™t hesitate to stay here again if we are visiting the area."

"A beautiful place to stay in. The cottage had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It was immaculate and stylish. The view up to Beacon Hill was amazing and the surrounding countryside reminded you of how England should look. The hosts Eileen & Chris were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely stay there again. Ditchling is fascinating with period houses it’s steeped in history. A tip you must have an afternoon tea at the Nutmeg Tree tea room."

"The hotel was superb and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. From the reception staff to the restaurant staff and bar staff and also the cleaning staff everyone was friendly and so helpful. I absolutely loved the hotel and will definitely go there again."
