"Had a very pleasant stay here. The rooms and property are well maintained. Great overall experience. My only inconvenience is that as a taller and larger individual, the shower stalls are a bit tight. But the water was nice and hot, and the towel heaters were excellent. Also, because you're technically on an island, having a kitchen was a huge plus. Plenty of supermarkets in Burg Auf to stock up. Having a car is a must. "

"Ole's hospitality was warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was generous and had everything you could want, even delicious homemade jam. The accommodation was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definately come back next time we visit our Danish cousins in Væggeløse. "

"It is a nice hotel with great view out to a lake. It is very well located at walking distance from the town square. There's a little cozy bar and their restaurant is good. "

"Firstly, location is excellent- 2 minutes to ferry crossing. It serves the purpose. Stayed the night prior to catching a ferry. Rooms are big, but facilities are very dated and it is not particularly clean. Beds however were very comfortable and if not the horrible small or manure it would have been a good nights sleep. Not for light sleeper either- pretty noisy through the night. Food was fine- nothing blew our minds, basic. Breakfast was good- just enough choice and served early too"

"Beautiful building and unique location. Comfortable room and wonderful dining experience! Staff a little inexperienced but very helpful and friendly. Poor communication between restaurant and hotel had us very nearly not being charged for dinner. You shouldn’t have to rely on the honesty of your guests! Otherwise faultless. "

"Basic room but very nice for an overnight stay. Friendly and helpful staff. The only complaint would be the extremely weird TV set up. It only seemed to work via Google Chrome. No regular TV could be watched (at least I couldn’t figure it out)"

"The absolute worst accommodation I have ever experienced. Wooden cabins full of dust and dirt, old mattresses full of dust and never cleaned, lots of ants all over the cabin, couldn't get rid of them. The upper floor is climbed by a very steep ladder, absolutely unsuitable for the safety of children. No beds upstairs, only mattresses on the floor. Stale air. Nevermore."
