Very quiet town and I loved the theater! It is run by volunteers and shows all the latest movies! The popcorn was excellent! This is a must do when you are in town!

"The property is a bit dated and parts are in ill repair. However, the room was nice and the bed comfortable. WIFI was fast, TV worked and had good choices. So for the price I thought this was a good place."

"Older motel but very clean. Beds were really nice. Service was great. They walked us to the room, opened the door, and did walk through to see if there was anything that we needed. Walking distance to eat. Very nice older mom and pop hotel."

Rocky Ford is an old working town. Oil, gas, wind, trains, cattle, farming, trucking. It's not a quiet place but if you have business in & around town, The High Chaparral is a nice enough place that is central to where you need to be.
