We were in the area for an event so we did not expect to be staying at the house much. However, I really enjoyed sitting on the back deck with my coffee in the morning watching the birds and the deer. Really enjoyed the stay, great location.
We really enjoyed our stay. The location was in a quiet area and was set in an area set aside from noise. The house was clean and spacious for my husband, son, and myself. Kay and James were great hosts that had everything we could need.
This was a nice little farm house that reminded me of visiting your grandparents place. It was very quiet. There was a large back porch that was nice for morning coffee. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, making sure we had anything we needed. We do plan to visit here again in the future. Thanks for the enjoyable visit! :)
Our hosts very super helpful and inviting. The farmhouse was fun and our grandkids enjoyed exploring and the wonderful swing. It’s a lovely, quiet area. We needed to pick up an item or two, and were pleasantly surprised that Cove has a Dollar General and gas station just 5 minutes away. There are three queen beds - one in each of the three bedrooms. The other sleeping arrangements are a couch with recliners at each end, and a stand alone recliner. These worked okay for kids, but probably wouldn’t work for adults. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
The owners are very nice couple that live on the ranch and will do anything to accommodate you and your family. Very clean place. I love it. My kids were disappointed in not having a TV but they played more outside on the swing and horse shoes than ever before. It made my family enjoy the country life and brought the kids closer. We will definitely be back!!!

Next time anything free is offered, I will decline.
My husband and I weren't able to go due to a shoulder injury. Five of our friends were able to stay in the Rocking J Ranch house and they enjoyed their stay. My issue is that during a phone conversation weeks prior to our reservation dates with the hosts, Kay and James, they offered more accommodations to us at no charge. One was the use of 2 extra rooms in their home with a bathroom and private entry at no charge. This was offered by the hosts without any prompting from myself. With that knowledge, I found friends going to the same event that wanted to stay in one of the spare rooms. One day before our expected arrival, I called Kay to let her know the number of guests that were coming. She advised me that the spare rooms were no longer available. My annoyance is that if I had not called her and we had all showed up as planned, there would not have been enough space for all. Also, this home lists as sleeping 9. There is really only space for 6 adults to sleep comfortably. The hosts count the living room couch and 2 recliners as beds. This would be fine for children, but not for middle age adults. Moral of the story is, If someone offers something for free, I will decline.
