"Came for my husband’s birthday. He was able to catch a few fish, which was the goal. We very much enjoyed the peace of the water and a nightly fire, which we can’t do at our home. The lake is so large, we felt like we were at the ocean. Pelicans in Ohio!?!?! They were fun to see. Also had a few bald eagle sightings. I let the typewriter get some fresh air and spent some time in writer’s retreat. The cabin was perfect. The host couldn’t have made the experience any better—it was a delightful time! Thank you!"
