"Front Desk - A+ Room #1 - entered room, stain on floor, three chairs were upside down on the bed. Room was not ready for guests at 10PM at night. Room #2 - given different room. Entered room, room cleaner until looked in shower. Dead spider in tub/shower. Went back to front desk. Offered a third room but declined. 2 for 2, we struck out. There is now way I could recommend this hotel. If you are considering this hotel, look for the bad reviews."

It appears that the new owners have primarily invested in upgrades to the main entrance lobby, banquet hall, dining area, and bar. Unfortunately, the guest rooms—especially the bathrooms—still need significant attention. The bathtub was unglazed and peeling, and it was not completely clean. "It is a nice place to stay for a very affordable price"

"Our stay was okay overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the dinner at the restaurant was really good. However, our room never really got cold even with the A/C set to the lowest temperature, which made it uncomfortable at times. The pool also consistently had white crystals floating on the surface and looked quite cloudy, so we didn't enjoy using it as much as we had hoped. Overall, it wasn't a bad stay, but I'm not sure I would choose to stay here again."
