"We had one of the best vacations ever at Sungate.The beach is gorgeous, and we had it entirely to ourselves. The near constant breeze and large shaded patio ensured it was pleasant to sit on the beach or poolside all day even in the middle of summer. We barely spent any time inside! It was so nice I even slept outside a couple nights so I could fall asleep listening to the waves and looking up at the stars.The house itself is well maintained, well stocked, spacious, and extremely comfortable. It's a great place to relax, and downstairs is set up with all kinds of fun activities.Marco and Yani are fabulous hosts. Marco immediately responded to all our questions both before and during our trip. He even reached out proactively to let us know about a short power outage on the island (which we didn't even notice because the house has solar panels and a battery backup). When we asked them if they had a karaoke machine they overnighted us one! We were fortunate enough to meet them on the last day of our trip and they're just as nice in person.Eleuthera is a wonderful place, and we'll definitely be returning. When we do, Sungate will be our first choice for where to stay."

"**Parkay at Sunset - A Perfect Escape!**This was our second stay at Parlay at Sunset, and it was every bit as amazing as the first. The house is perfectly situated with a beach right in the backyard, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling, critter hunting at night, or simply relaxing by the water. The sunsets here are nothing short of magical – the view of the water almost looks like liquid glass.The property is well-equipped with everything you need. The generator is a AWESOME feature, ensuring we never had to worry about power. The house was spotless, and Diana and Charles were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay.It’s conveniently located near a large grocery store in Rock Sound, and a smaller one in Tarpum Bay, so stocking up on essentials is easy. Plus, the dock is a great spot for fresh fish—perfect for cooking up a meal in the fully stocked kitchen, which had everything we needed to cook at home.It’s just a short 30-minute drive to Pascal's, where you can enjoy a swim-up pool bar and a beautiful beach – we visited multiple times during our trip. And definitely don’t miss the stargazing at night – it’s truly mind-blowing!Before you leave, be sure to pick up a straw hat from Stevie in Tarpum Bay—it's a perfect souvenir.The South Side of Eleuthera has so much to offer, and this property is a perfect base to explore it all. Highly recommend! We will be booking again next summer! "

"This house has a ton of charm with a very casual feel to it. Small swimming pool was extremely nice for those days of sunning on the decks then cooling off. The Beach was very close with 3 min or less walk. The master King Bed was very comfortable and had its on walkout balcony deck with beautiful views. There was a 2nd bedroom with large bed and bunk above, which would be nice if you had kids. The pictures accurately illustrate the house. The house is very private, which we liked and was perfect for our stay. It was also well appointed with towels, beach gear, TP, trash bags, coffee maker, coffee filters, etc. Jethro “Host” was extremely kind and helpful & responsive with our inquiries, which gave us a peace of mind. We will be staying again. "

"Wonderful home. The breeze through over the pool was wonderful. The no-see-ums were irritating but the breezeway kept them mostly away. We had 12 adults, and the bedrooms are set up nicely as individual master suites. The lagoon has very good snorkeling. Clouds of minnows, some coral fish, barracuda, turtle and 2 small sharks were seen. Snorkel under the overhangs at low tide and at high tide check out the mangroves. The kayaks and paddle boards were greatly appreciated. Erin the gold crested night heron visited us every day. The house is on google maps so easy to find. The kitchen has 2 refrigerators and 2 washer dryers. Had a great time."
