"This was an absolutely amazing rental home. The location was perfect: a quick and easy drive into town and an easy walk to the beautiful beach across the street. Eleuthera can feel rural at times and while this property is tucked a bit out of the way and felt quiet and private it was still easy to access. We loved the town of Governor’s Harbor and were really happy to have this location as our base for exploring the southern side of the island. Everything matched the listing accurately and the layout of the house was perfect for our group of 6 friends and couples. Great common space and a really well appointed kitchen that made cooking at home a breeze. That top deck with ocean views was so peaceful and comfortable for morning coffee. Jethro is a hospitality pro, he welcomed us so warmly, took his time showing us the ins and outs of the property, and was happy to give advice about which restaurants to go to and which beaches and excursions to check out per our group’s needs. We took a lot of his advice and were so glad we did!!We all wish we could’ve stayed much longer and are eager to return. Thanks, Jethro!"

" A waterfront beauty! Upper deck walkway through the Palms to a scenic breakfast table. Birds singing and breeze blowing. The beach is incredible. Quiet and usually sparse with people. Maybe 6-8 all day. The house is very nice and comfortable. A nice kitchen and bathes. Really a good spot. We’re going back again!!!"

"Absolutely a wonderful relaxed Experiance. Entire staff was very friendly. I had the best massage I have ever had in my life and I have had many many all over . The beach is fantastic, you feel you're on a deserted island. I 100% would go back. I have to say we dined out everywhere but the food was fabulous at their restaurant. The fish tacos were outstanding."

"We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Purple Papaya. The cottage was super clean and well stocked. The views were phenomenal! We walked the beach every day. We enjoyed Tippys, for lunch and dinner. We could hear the music from our back porch, while enjoying the pool . Would definitely recommend staying at Purple Papaya. "

Just a minute walk to the beach, rarely saw more than 4 people out and about, great snorkeling, beautiful sunsets at the beach or from the house and all the amenities you need. Senza Nome couldn’t have been a more perfect place for an amazing, comfortable and relaxing stay. "

As soon as we arrived she couldn’t stop saying “wow” and “it’s so amazing!” The views right from the little cottage make you feel like you are in a movie. The hosts were incredibly helpful, checked in on us and gave us great tips on where to go in the area. We felt very safe and at home right away. We will be back!! "
