"Clean space. Owner is always quickly to respond to messages. Great location, 1.5 miles from one of FCF entrances. Wished I could have enjoyed the hot tub, which was ready and waiting for us but, the bad weather didn't allow us; I'm sure it's wonderful. Would definitely recommend."

"The Oak Cottage was exactly as described and had everything we needed. The location is quiet and tranquil with the Creek just down the hill. We arrived very late but the owner was a gem and brought us a lantern to combat the power outage caused by tornados in the area. 10/10 will stay again."

"We enjoyed our stay. The little cottage was perfect!!! Nestled in the woods not far from the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in deck listening to the birds and crickets. It was so peaceful and the cottage was adorable!!! We really enjoyed our get away! Highly reccomend!!"

"The cabin was very tiny but in good condition. It appeared like it was very nice not too long ago but has recently been let go. There were goats and chickens all around my cabin and they kept getting out of the pin.The property had a lot of junk around the back including a fish tank with old green water standing in it ,broken pallets and a old rusted flat bed hitch trailer piled with junk. "I was in town to run the Savage Marathon. The race start/finish was only 10 minutes down the road. This cabin was the perfect place for me. It was a great size, quiet, private, and had everything I needed to cook a few meals and clean up after the race. Stopped by the Greeter Grill after the race and had a great burger and fries. I love camping at Savage Gulf Preserve but this is a perfect option when I’m not feeling up to camping."

"Very impressed with cleanliness. Great cabin.the only thing that I would change is a handrail on the right side of the stairs. I have some mobility issues with my Left arm and leg and nothing to hold on to with my good hand on the right. My fault for not checking. LoL😊 beautiful large rug under the dining table but the chairs get caught and do not go back very well. Almost took my husband down! LoL 😆 overall great place . Would highly recommend."
