"My boyfriend and I had the most amazing stay at Hotel Villa Belvedere! We were traveling from Bari when our flight was unexpectedly canceled, so instead of waiting three days for the next one, we made the six-hour drive to Taormina. When we arrived, the reception staff couldn’t believe we had driven that far and kept telling us how exhausted we must have been. We had booked a standard room, but they surprised us with an upgrade to a private villa so we could relax. It was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. The villa was absolutely beautiful, the entire property was stunning, the pool was gorgeous, and the breakfast was incredible. Every member of the staff was so kind and welcoming. We loved our stay so much that we didn’t want to leave! We decided to extend our trip by one more night, and they even let us stay in the private villa while still charging us the original standard room rate. That level of hospitality meant so much to us. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Villa Belvedere for turning a stressful travel situation into an unforgettable experience. We can’t recommend this hotel enough and can’t wait to come back!"

"The staff at this hotel are so kind and helpful! Location is wonderful, close walk to town (less than 5 min!) but still quiet and right off the main square. The pool was lovely. It is however a bit dated, we had a junior suite and although very roomy, the decor could definitely use a facelift. It felt overpriced for what you got but overall very happy with our stay."

"Nice hotel - but needed a bit of TLC and a lick of paint. It looks like a relic from the 1970s and could do with a facelift. The staff were great, really kind and helpful; they all helped with my basic Italian! The location is fantastic- close enough to walk to the action, but quiet enough to get away from the hustle and bustle if you want. Breakfast was lovely- I don’t think they opened for evening meals. But there are plenty of eateries within walking distance. A great base to explore the area."

"Everything was excellent except the concierge was awful. They never made the dinner reservations they were supposed to and gave wrong directions. Also, if you drive your own car there ask for directions to the hidden car entrance. The front of the hotel is for taxis only."

"We had a lovely stay at Nautilus Hotel. The hotel was very clean throughout, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach, beach clubs, restaurants, and shops, making it a great base for exploring Giardini Naxos and Taormina. The only downside was the lack of storage space in the Classic Room. There wasn’t enough wardrobe or drawer space for clothes, which made it a little difficult to unpack during our stay. Apart from that, we had a very enjoyable experience and would happily stay here again."
