"My family and I enjoyed an amazing fishing vacation here. There were so many wonderful extras at this home. We enjoyed a clean, quiet, restful stay with all the comforts of home. Melanie, the host, was quick to answer any questions I had before the visit and she was so kind. There were so many little things that meant so much from a coffee, warm, drink, and breakfast snack spread to toiletries, The kitchen had a full complement of dishes and cookware, books, games, and even charcoal for the grill. I cannot offer enough praise for the wonderful place we enjoyed."

"We loved this property and the hosts were amazing. It's a little quirky (the layout is on the odd side), but it comfortably slept five of us and provided the space we needed. I wanted to leave a few bits of information for those utilizing this property for seeing their loved ones graduate from Army Basic Training. First of all, if you're making your reservations at the beginning of your loved one's basic training, before knowing exact graduation dates, family day takes place on the Wednesday of graduation week and graduation takes place on Thursday. You'll want to plan on being there on Tuesday night as family day starts at 10:00 am and they want families to be at the gate around 8:00 am. As of this writing (April 2024), the East Gate is open from about 5:00 am - 8:30 am. That means if you plan on arriving at the gate after 8:30, you'll need to go to the main entrance (the north gate), which is about a 35 minute drive from the property. You can take your soldier to the property on family day as it is within 50 miles of base. Graduation takes place at the parade grounds (which is about 35 minutes from the property if you're using the East Gate) at 10:00 am and then you'll have your soldier again for the day. Consequently, I would plan on leaving on Friday. I hope this helps. Enjoy your stay!"

"Your house was perfect for our stay in Houston! My late mother's grandma name was Nana so our stay in your house was meant to be! The decorations were lovely, we enjoyed looking around at all the nic naks! The house is in a great location with a nice outside deck that we enjoyed. Overall great house in a great location!"
