It has a full size washer & dryer. The front porch overlooks a meadow with a cool mountain stream. Dogwood Ridge has a 2 car garage to protect your vehicle from the elements. A great area for motorcycles This is a great area for motorcycle riding. There are many beautiful and curvy rides which, of course, include the famous 'Tail of the Dragon' road where there are 318 curves in 11 miles. Equally as wonderful a ride for either cars or motorcycles is the Cherhola Skyway well known for its scenic vistas. But plenty of local paved roads offer everything you could want in a ride.

Lots to do: There are many things to see and do. White water rafting was so much fun. Next time we want to do some hiking.

The property had everything we needed to make for a good long weekend. It's a quiet location with a peaceful front porch. The house is a bit dated, but that didn't bother us at all! Thanks to the host for making everything easy.

The place is a charming little getaway in the woods, very much enjoyed our stay here. Thr host was very responsive.
Master bathroom is carpeted which was weird and the driveway isnt really meant for very low cars as well as a little slippery when wet.

Beautiful home. Grandsons loved the creek and the basement! Very lovely home and nice to have things to cook with. We really enjoyed just relaxing and watching the boys have fun. Little far from Walmart but that was OK. Only thing didn't like was there was No cell phone service but at least we did have internet so could communicate thru fb messenger if needed to. We just loved the place and hated to leave. Sitting on the porch and just enjoying our time there. The owner was very nice and called to make sure everything was OK. Thank you so much for such a nice place to enjoy!!

The house was spacious, a dated, but very clean. The kitchen was nicely stocked with bowls, pans, utensils and numerous other conveniences.
The beds were quite comfy. The showers were nice and hot.
The driveway was rather tricky on the bikes. Things got alittle squirrelly on the wet gravel incline.
That front porch was a tranquilizer with the hummingbirds, babbling brook and wildlife.
We were 7 adults residing and we had plenty of room.
Was a great house.

House is dated but clean. The master bed is VERY firm. Overall a very charming and peaceful retreat. Had a great time enjoying the fall foliage! EXCELLENT location for mountain roads like the tail of the dragon while being off on a side road to avoid all the traffic noise.

We rented this house in May of 2021 & it was very accessible to everything & everywhere we go, plus we had a garage to keep our motorcycles at night & during the rain we had, we will be back for another stay in May 2023 we're already making plans for next year, I have spoken with Mr.Stoltz the owner & he is a very nice host & is always concerned that we have a good stay, he is very accessible to you anytime you need him, great host to deal with, the drive way was not a problem to ride our bikes up, thanks for letting us stay again, see you next year.

The cabin was Hugh, the older adults stayed on the bottom floor and the younger adults stays on the upper floor. The best of two worlds. The home was very clean and meet all are needs. we were grateful that we were able to bring our pet. Would highly recommend this cabin.

We had a great time at Dogwood Ridge! We were able to use the property and visit different hiking trails around the area. It was also a close drive to Asheville for a quick day of site seeing. The home is very well equipped, best stocked VRBO I’ve ever been to, in fact. The beds were comfy and the ping pong table received lots of use. Our favorite part of the house was by far the back porch. Nothing like coffee and a babbling brook! We hope to visit again sometime. Thanks for a great stay!

owner was very good to deal with, we had no problem riding our motorcycles up to the house, the first day & a half we were rained out from riding but we just hung around the house & relaxed, it was nice to have a garage to park our bikes in to keep them out of the rain, house location is convenient to Robbinsville, Cherahola Skyway , tail of the dragon, & many other good roads for riding motorcycles, the house is very well equipped all you have to bring is your food, it was the best kitchen for any rental I have ever used I told the owner we will definitely stay again next year.

if you are looking for nature and wilderness, this home exactly matches your search. Surrounded by woods and rivers on a small secondary road. Calm, silence, green. Only noise is the river right in front of this huge chalet.
