"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "We loved our stay at Hibiscus with our 1yr old son. The lovely team gave us a travel cot, toys for our son and the animals (chickens, ducks, dog) were a hit with him! It walkable (even shorter drive with easy parking) to the beach, easy walk to town. We only wished it had a pool and it would have been even better but that’s our personal preference not an issue with the property. Would highly recommend staying here. Staff are so lovely"

"Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und über Alles informiert. Bei Fragen unserer Seite gab es per WhatsApp direkten Kontakt. Unser Zimmer hatte eine gigantische Sicht auf das Meer und Stromboli. Die Anlage ist moderner als auf den Fotos( modernisiert ). Parkplätze ausreichend auf dem Grundstück. Uns hat es super gefallen. "

"Amazing place , the garden area is beautiful. Is peaceful and quite. Beautiful SPA recently open , is like paradise ! The pool area is great with beautiful view and amazing sunset 🌅. Personnel very kind and helpful , they even allowed me to do a late checkout at no cost . Breakfast , lunch and dinner are top !! Delicious local food and some international food also . The only negative for me was the bed 🛌, too hard and difficult to sleep. Overall Highly recommend . "

"We stayed at La Taverna for 5 nights in late June. The room was clean, the area was quiet. The swimming pool was perfect, not crowded, and the beach was at a walkable distance. Appreciated the shop and local restaurants nearby. The staff was very helpful. There was a free shuttle to the train station (we visitedTropea). I can recommend La Taverna!"

"The entire staffs main concern was to make us happy. The location of the hotel is perfect for beach access. The breakfast was a little weak but it got the job done. Highly recommend reserving through the hotel vise the hotels.com website. Some of the room descriptions on hotel.com are misleading. Beach side does not really mean looking at the beach. "Great property for families! Staff and hotel is very accommodating. Baby bathtubs, bibs, cutlery, cups, etc. could you more seating around the pool as it was often slim pickings. Grounds were beautiful, very well maintained, and the sunsets, unreal!"

"Exceptional resort great facilities all over it wonderful beaches access & use of beach areas exclusively for hotel guests, amazing breakfast options, fabulous diner although limited options great gym facilities incredible spa facilities clean huge & incredibly relaxing. A little distant from Tropea town but no problems with transport to & from, about 15 mins by car a huge 5 stars from me fir this wonderful resort!"
