The only downside was that it is located in a rougher part of town. We got that impression as soon as we arrived, and our very kind older taxi driver even warned us to be cautious and to have taxis drop us directly at the hotel entrance, especially after 10 p.m. Later, our night tour guide also commented that it was an "ugly" part of the city. "We checked in, walked into our room, and were disappointed. We feel it was not represented accurately in photos online. The room is very small and bare. Cleanliness was fine, the receptionist was kind. But for the nightly price, it just wasn’t worth it to us. We sat down long enough to google other hotels nearby and found one 5 minutes away that was extremely nice for a few more euros per night. We kindly checked out and drove away. "

"The room was absolutely amazing and gorgeous view, less than 1 min walk to the beach, and great cafes close by. It also had great amenities - and paddle boards and kayaks that you can use! The owners were lovely, very kind, and helpful. Looking forward to coming back!"

"Nice view from the lounge areas. The breakfast and dinner options were buffet style and not that great but it was our only option for dinner. Hotel felt like it was stuck in the 70s, it wasn’t dirty but it was old school. Quaint hotel with a nice beach view. "
