"Overall the room was just okay. Very old vibe not in a good way- just seemed very drab and sad."

"Such a lovely combination of old and unique while still clean and cozy. The grounds were beautiful and everyone was so accommodating"

"Great hotel! Excellent location to explore Sligo. Close to great pubs and restaurants. Loved having the balcony. Thank you!"

"Comfortable warm room, excellent breakfast, convenient location."

"Friendly & helpful staff. Usual problem with this hotel ( stayed last year also) is not enough staff. Rooms clean though small & basic. Front desk staff & restaurant/ bar staff hard working and welcoming. Restaurant food really excellent - wexstayed 4 nights & had dinner there rwice. Room service very disappointing- checked in on Friday & I had to call with reception to get basics replenished on Sunday - towels, loo roll, tea & milk..."

"Wonderful staff and central to everything!!!"

"The kitchen was very nice. The staff were very helpful and gave us recommendations for laundry facilities and things to see. The bed was comfortable, the shower had great water pressure. The only thing we would change is having a better space to put our backpacks would have been appreciated."

"Beautiful room! Mealsnwere amazing! Staff very friendly! No elevator.."

"Great location, two local pubs are fun, rooms were very pleasant. Apart from one sweet young cleaner, I didn't see any staff. Personally i hate automated check in and the pin numbers etc hadn't come through so I was stuck outside (with a couple of other new guests) for half an hour. No answer to the phone calls either. Real people might cost money but they determine how a place is perceived."

"All good"

"Spacious room with excellent shower and the location is very central."

"Very friendly and helpful, couldn't fault anything about my stay"

"Nice location overlooking the river - hotel a bit tired and in need of an upgrade - breakfast was lovely"

"This B and B is an exquisite home. The host, Kate, was fun, kind and incredibly knowledgeable. We learned a lot and had a wonderful time. Also the Best Irish breakfast !"
