"Great place to stay!! Secluded and easy to access.The area between the cabin and the creek is perfect. We had our corn hole boards, camping chairs and music down there while the dogs ran around and played in the stream.Also a nice rolling herb garden to the side of the house with a cool swing and hiking trails right behind the house that go up the mountain.Lake Lure is only 15 minutes away where there is an Ingles grocery store and a handful of neat bars and restaurants with live music.The Cabin itself is really nice! This is a Fully furnished and equipped house with everything you would expect to find. Laundry room, full kitchen, great living room with giant windows that look up to the trees and sky, giant master bedroom/bath, 2nd bedroom downstairs is perfect and on the opposite side of the house from the Master bedroom.The loft upstairs is big with a couch/sitting area, 2 beds, its own bathroom and opens up to the upstairs deck.Great place, definitely recommend!!The deck upstairs off of the Loft area is great for watching the stars."

"The property was serene and quiet. A great place to get away. The cottage was clean and well kept. Daniel, our host, was very attentive and there if we needed anything at all. The family had a great time! The cottage will be at the top of the list for our next visit. "
"First-class property with all the amenities. We truly enjoyed our stay. Great view from porch. Grill worked fine. The one lane road is scary, but we had no problem. We had an excellent Italian dinner at La Strada in Lake Lure.Too bad Lake Lure is way down right now, but the cabin overlooks another smaller lake."

"First of all, Matt and Katie are wonderful host. They are quick to respond if needed. Cabin was beautiful with a breath taking view. The kids 6-13 enjoyed the game room and had a space to do their own thing. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals for all 10 of us. Plenty of sitting both dining room and living room. Beds were comfortable. Grocery store is 5 miles away and Walmart is 30 minutes. Wonderful cabin- plan to stay again next year. "

"We had an amazing weekend staying out here in Lake Lure. The house is close enough to all the necessities and restaurants around. The lake was still closed when we went, but that didn't detract from our time. There is still some river fishing and tons of beautiful views. The house itself was very cozy, the tub downstairs is massive if you like to take couple baths & the kitchen is stocked VERY well for cooking, and honestly it seems even some baking! (Mix by hand only of course!) It'd be easy to stock up and spend your time just at the house. My one complaint is the water heater! It isn't great, but it does still get warm enough for a shower/bath, but just about that. There's tons of storage if you need to put up clothes or anything of the sort. "
