"If you’re visiting the OSU, Blackwell is a great place to stay: right on campus, across from the football stadium, it's a first-rate hotel with great staff and rooms. The surroundings are a little empty because you're on the edge of campus, and food options walkable from the hotel are mostly chains and student oriented. However, convience and quality absolutely make it worthwhile to stay here for campus-related work or visits. Definitely top of my list of places to stay in Columbus. "

"Good stay. When checking in the front desk guy was very friendly and even moved us to a quieter building for our stay. It is a bit run down but has what you need. Fridge was cold and microwave worked great. Although you step up into the room so everything is just a tad lower like the shower head and sink. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Stayed here last night for OSU graduation. Very nice, clean, affordable room. Lots of fun places to walk to (Book Loft, Staub’s Coffee). Quiet room. We brought our bikes to ride the Scioto trail to precommencement on Saturday and graduation on Sunday, super close.Owner is super nice, let us keep car in parking lot after check out so we could bike all day."
