"Waterview cottage is comfortable and very clean. The accommodations look new and we had good sleep. The kitchen has most of the necessary equipment for meal preparation. A baking sheet pan is needed. WiFi and Roku TV was excellent. The primary bedroom bed was so tall/high my wife could not get in or out of it. That necessitated sleeping in the 2 twins. "Great little place for an overnight stay. The cottage is as cute as can be. It’s on the same property close to the main house but is private enough. Sure, no running water and the shower is tiny but it was a fun, cozy cottage. Totally worth the stay and the riverside bar/restaurant in Port Deposit was fantastic as well as a pub along the Main Street. Live music at both places. Thanks for hosting us!"

"We had a five sibling reunion--the youngest was 78. We made extensive use of the Keurig single cup coffee maker and the four recliner chairs. The front door handle was broken, but it was promptly fixed while we went to dinner. The guest book with information regarding the area was missing so we used Google and recommendations from people we interacted with. All communication was through VRBO because we weren't given a direct phone number. The location is very beautiful and rural with Amish farms...

"This is a beautiful home with beautiful views in a quiet area of Strasburg. We loved the sun room and porch views. We enjoyed watching the many birds in the area. One thing that might need to be considered before booking is that there are very steep stairs in the home and an unlevel pathway to the front door. If you have mobility issues, this may not be the right home for you."

"My wife being a teacher needs a break by October. This vintage waterfront cottage renovated to exacting detail as she watches on her favorite ‘Reno-Shows’ was perfect. Located in a private neighborhood with dead end streets, it was quiet and peaceful. Sue the owner was quickly responsive when we had any questions. We are recommending the cottage to our family."

"Our stay was absolutely amazing. From the booking process to our check out time, I have nothing but great memories and words. The home was beautiful and super clean. We were able to take some amazing pictures for our wedding of our wedding party while getting ready with the beautiful landscape behind us. The pond was a bonus and a great way to end our wedding night. Our friends complimented the home so much and we look forward to booking again in the future."

"It was me, my son and my sister staying. The grounds were beautiful, and we fed the goats too! It was late season, so no pool or any relaxing outdoors. Brrr. Traffic is light in the area so it was easy to get in a 2+ mile walk and see the local neighborhoods. As it was mentioned in the listing (but not obvious in the photos), you have to walk through the bunk room to get to the master bedroom, and the door to the upstairs bath doesn't offer total privacy. "The hill top cottage was the perfect space for an eagle watching weekend with my girlfriend’s family! The whole place was as described and very clean. "We had a lovely weekend stay at Ruby’s sea glass cottage. It is newly renovated, completely outfitted with every amenity you could want or need, and walking distance to the beach and park. We enjoyed playing pickleball on the park’s courts and riding bicycles, grilling out and eating on the back porch, and sleeping in the comfortable beds! We were even entertained on the rainy morning as we played games and worked puzzles that the owner has on hand. A fantastic home that we heartily recommend!"

"Staying here was a refreshing change from hotels. The house is in great shape, the full size refrigerator was welcome so that we could freeze our cooler packs, and it was nice waking up to a breakfast we could make from scratch with farm eggs and a delicious pumpkin cranberry loaf. Highly recommended, if you don't mind a bit of a drive away from town centers."
