Apartment was lovely and spacious, not too far of a walk from the beachfront with restaurants. Hidden €1.50 tourist tax per guest per night- but couldn’t go wrong with the pricing overall especially with some complementary breakfast.."

"This apartment is a bit out of town but has amazing views and is right on a cheap bus route. There is a lovely bakery a short walk away and we ate out on the terrace under the orange tree watching the world go by and the cruise liners in the bay.The air conditioning works well and is really quiet. Some of the furnishings are a little tired but we found the price good value, excellent bathrooms and shower. The owner was super helpful and quick to respond. "The house was more rustic than expected, and it would have been nice to know a caretaker liver on site. Not a problem, but it would have been nice to know. View of Mt. Etna was stunning, and the pool was maintained well. Surrounding area was a bit intimidating, and the entrance gates took some work. But overall, a nice place and very attentive hosts."

"We had a great stay. It was very clean and close to the heart of Taormina. Big shower. Great kitchen. Excellent communication with the owner. The stairs are a little hard to get up and down but also very charming. Parking is difficult and you need to walk 10 minutes as you can’t park right next to the place. Overall, highly recommend!"

"We stayed at Casa Spisone with our family of 6. The house is in a great location, walk to the beach, mini market and Taormina cable car. We spent most of our time at Mazarro beach which is sandy and has a small public area. The house was great for the family with two bedrooms downstairs, although you walk through one to get to the other. Carparking was a bonus and we used the outdoor patio a lot. "The perfect place to totally chill and unwind, which was just what we needed. Lovely characterful farmhouse, fab location, close to Taormina, the most beautiful town ever! Loved the horses who came to greet us each morning and the cats who visited us. Mimmo was the perfect host, there when we needed, and even brought us vegan cookies, which was such a lovely gesture and much appreciated! We stayed for a week but would love to return and stay longer!"

"A great property in very easy reach of Mt Etna, Taormina, Catania (40 mins from each), and Milazzo. There is also a lovely beach just 10mins away. The neighbourhood is a bit a non-descript, but it is a lovely property, quiet, with a lovely "temporary" pool which is a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Francesco the host was great throughout the stay. Highly recommended as a base for visits around Etna."
