"Off grid getaway tucked deep in the redwoods— arrival itself is an adventure. The apartment is a quiet, peaceful nook with an eclectic touch. The grounds are highly explorable and our pup had a wonderful time. Wondering around and waking up next to the rushing Eel River was a beautiful experience. Great place to stay if your goal is to disconnect for a while. 10/10 will return. "

"We stayed four nights with our dog, Bosco, who loved the space to run around and check out the cows and the deer. It is very peaceful and quiet with a large bedroom and bath. You are within walking distance to Main Street but feel like you are all alone in the countryside. Hosts are extremely responsive."

"I first stayed at the Ginger bread house in the 80ies not long after it became a B&B. It is just as wonderful now as it was then. From tea time to the stroll in the garden is was a magical stay. The one draw back was booking through VRBO. I was not able to contact the hostess directly and wasn't sure how to check in. It is best to make reservations by directly calling them.
