The staff especially juliana we’re very accommodating and nice. She really tried to make up for the fact that Hilton has operational quirks that could be worked out. Like how you charge room service. when I signed my name and I put charge my room it was two in the morning and I quickly ate and went to bed after a 20 hour journey into Brazil. Only to be woken up to pay for the burger. Then I couldn’t go back to bed. No point in paying for a Hilton if you can’t sleep over the price of a burger The place needs mold remediation, I would never go to this Hilton again, unfortunately and hope that they remediate the property. I smelled mold anywhere there was carpet, maybe have the sunshine in a bit more. Had I not had work in Barra I would not have been in the area, but overall not a pleasant day. The property needs work, but the staff definitely try to make it better.

I booked a 23-day stay at this hotel because I trusted the Hilton brand. At 56, I had waited my entire life for what was supposed to be a dream vacation, but my experience quickly became upsetting. Within 20 minutes of checking in, I pulled back the covers and found the linens covered in hair. The front desk apologized and moved me, but the second room was worse—the bed had hair and visible stains. After nearly 20 hours of travel, I was too exhausted to deal with another room change. That evening, I had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food and service were excellent, but my waiter repeatedly asked for my room number even after I explained I was paying by credit card. His demeanor seemed to change afterward. The next day, I returned for lunch. As I exited the elevator, five men dressed in black were gathered in the lobby, and one gave me an extremely hostile look. Again, my waiter repeatedly asked for my room number despite my saying I would pay by credit card. When I stepped away to take a call, I noticed the same men still watching from the lobby. I became increasingly uncomfortable and felt I was being targeted. I lost my appetite, paid, and left. When I did, all five men immediately got up as though they were following me. What should have been a once-in-a-lifetime vacation instead left me feeling uncomfortable, and unwelcome.

Confortable hotel but service need improving

it's a good hotel and the bed is confortable. However the service could be better, I asked for a quiet room with bathtub during booking and I was told it will be arranged during check in - which it wasn't, then I asked for it again and was promised it on the next day, I got a new room with no bathtub and on first floor facing the road, so not so quiet. Then the light in my room was flashing and this wasn't fixed during the 3 weeks I stayed there. The restaurant has good food but they would make a mistake at every order.
