"After a disastrous stay in the Northampton Ibis (old, tatty, noisy, hot) I thought I’d give the Mercure a whirl. Fractionally more expensive, it was everything that the Ibis is not. Fresh, up-to-date room, quiet, cool (aircon), comfortable bed. I’ll make the Mercure my new Northants base."

"Second visit to this hotel and an overnight stay. Really comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. Twin room with double beds. Very large and spacious. Ground floor, no outside noise. Air con in room. Don’t forget to register parking on tablet in reception."

"Room was clean- would have liked the room to be bigger it seemed to tight - iron was electric but broken from top cap - electric kettle should be cleaned because it a lot brown scales around. Staff was was friendly ."

"The room was very clean, staff were very helpful and parking was good, breakfast included in the price was a welcome bonus, the only thing to mildly note was the pillows could have been better and will bring my own next time, will definitely stay again"

"This is the second time we have stayed here en route to Norfolk. We love Market Harborough and the hotel is ideally located in the town. The rooms are nice and parking is so convenient behind the hotel."
