"This is a lovely place and the surroundings are beautiful. On a little island in the middle of nowhere, loads of wildlife to enjoy, so peaceful and the apartment is spacious and comfortable. The owners are really nice people and very helpful. Highly recommended for a stress free getaway. The only improvements would be the addition of a cooker/hob and a washing machine. There is a microwave and airfryer but we found this limiting as not used to this type of cooking."

"Great bungalow to stay in. Local pub (horse and jockey) just a 10 minute walk away, lovely meal in there. We stayed in carrot cottage, which had everything we needed. Only couple of things: 1. TV a bit small and couple of steps to bedroom could be a problem for a disabled person. My mam managed them, but worried she might fall over then at night. So left the light on over night. Overall great place to stay."

"Nice two bedrooms cottage in lovely little village with garden . All essentials provided inside which was lovely . Near to some great pubs and eateries and close to the beautiful town of Stamford ."

"No welcome ' pack ' not even a bottle of milk. Light fittings missing. Main bed the worst ever experienced. The central heating did not work, we sat in overcoats and blankets. Heating set at 16deg. in the middle of winter !Hostess indifferent , realised her responsibility, refused to speak to us and told the agency to ask us to leave due to heating problems and her concern with her insurance Gave full refund but our stay to be near our family was ruined due to lack of maintenance. "We had a fabulous week staying in Pam's Plaice. It's a charming house, very clean, & really nicely decorated and appointed. We were given lots of info prior to the holiday & warmly welcomed. "Front door is 5 yards from busy A43. Contacted owner for key code Friday am for Friday stay did not reply till 14.21 Sunday. Builders next door Hammering just after 7 Saturday and Monday. Cover on front bed filthy. Toilet seat not attached correctly. No logs provided for log burner or tools. Welcome pack not as advertised no wine no milk no eggs no crisps small loaf.
