Most beautiful view in Rincon

Located 50 feet above the oceans with a fantastic view to the West and wonderful sunsets, probably one of the nicest views on the West coast and on occasions in the winter you can see whales from the balcony. It is close enough to be able to throw a mongo into the oceans from the yard but with a good arm. The apartment has everything you would need for your stay A/C, BBQ, cable TV ,Internet and hot water, only need to bring your food and you have use of a washer and dryer. It is a two minute walk down the hill to a really nice beach which is much calmer than the North part of Rincon. The swimming is excellent and the sand never washes away. There is a fishing village there where you can buy fish a lobsters directly from the fishermen. A bit further down the beach is a little beach store right on the beach and you can buy beers for 1.25 and fried pies (Empanadilla) for 1.00.The neighborhood is very Puerto Rican and most everyone is family and we are not in the tourist area. You have you own parking space. The listing rated as four is for a family as there is only one bedroom

Great place with a great view!

Joes place is absolutely incredible. The views are so breathtaking, his home is amazing and he’s so sweet. Everything is close in driving distance. Ricomini bakery down the street is an incredible breakfast choice! Don’t miss out on this wonderful place. We’ll be back!

Lovely location, peaceful vibe, helpful owner - Would return

Joe's place is in a unique location - high above the ocean yet close enough to hear the breakers. A beautiful view with a peaceful patio for eating and relaxing - that is the place's signature. We cooked a bit with the well-supplied kitchen and ate in heaven. Also, Joe was a responsive owner who was helpful, responsive and yet gave us our privacy. We enjoyed our stay and would return gain.

Satisfied.

Our stay at this property was everything and more than was expected. Our host, Joe and his Wife were accommodating while at the same time we felt that we had privacy. I would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic view!

The perfect place for my solo vacation to Rincon. I spent my mornings in the swing under the mango tree sipping coffee and watching the waves roll in. Clean, well appointed apartment and Joe is a wonderful host. Can't wait to visit again!

One awesome week in Rincon

Its a beautiful small villa overlooking the ocean, and has fabulous sunsets every day. The apartment is clean and well appointed. We would love to return to stay with Joseph & Pilar!

Beautiful and Serene

Comfortable, informal space. Beautiful view from the porch, as advertised. Road approaching and driveway are narrow, the driveway steep, but we adapted and felt it was well worth it. Joe was very accommodating and welcoming.

Another great visit to Rincon

This property was exactly as described. Joe and Pilar were great hosts. Beds were very comfortable and linens were fresh and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with the wonderful view. If we return to Rincon, we would definitely consider one of Joe's properties.

Perfect for people looking for relaxed stay with a great view, you are by yourself with you're own kitchen and only 5 to 10 min if you like eating out 5 star dining! If you are looking for a swimming pool with drunk people this is not for you.

Wonderful Stay in Rincon!

We had a great stay at Joe's place in Rincón! He and Pilar are wonderful hosts. The apartment is just as described. It was clean, comfortable, and truly has some of the best views in Rincón! Joe was easy to get in contact with when needed and communicated clearly about everything. Rincón is a beautiful area and everything was easily accessible from Joe's place. We had an awesome vacation and will definitely be back!

Very hospitable

I had the pleasure to enjoy a wonderful place and Joe's and his wife's hospitality. They shared with me their Thanksgiving lunch very generously and made me feel at home. The location is superb. There is a very nice long sandy beach next to the house and the waives there are good for swimming and beginner surfing. Thank you!

Beautiful views, great for a family

My wife grew up visiting Rincon and finally got to bring me and our 2 kids. We booked Joe's place and had a wonderful stay. My 5 y/o and I basically lived on the swing and hammock for four days, taking in the amazing view overlooking the water. My 1 y/o loved the dogs, cats, lizards, chickens, pelicans, doves and other animals all around. The indoor accommodations are simple but everything was well stocked and comfortable. Joe was very responsive and helpful. Having access to washer and dryer was absolutely clutch for managing 2 young kids. Walking access to the beach and a very quick drive to shops and restaurants in Rincon. We all loved it and hope to return in the future.

Perfect - for certain people

Joe is a wonderful host. Generally responds within minutes. The house is on a hill with a perfect view of the ocean. Sit on the deck with a drink and watch the sunset straight in front of you. Listen to the ocean while you fall asleep. Hear the roosters in the morning. Take the 5 minute walk down to the beach - a gorgeous and secluded beach. There's always plenty of sand to sit on comfortably with ample shade if you need it. A 5 minute drive to Rincon and all that this amazing town offers. Including the wonderful people who live there and show you how to be the best person you can be. There's a but - this is not a resort. The apartment has minimal amenities and is a little threadbare. This bothered us NOT AT ALL. We loved it. But it's not for everyone.

Spectacular view!

We are restored- revitalized & happy after our wonderful stay here! The house is perched high over the ocean with a big open patio that made our vacation just awesome. We loved falling asleep every night to the sound of the waves rolling in and the coquis chirping away. Every morning the roosters had us up at dawn to enjoy breakfast overlooking the ocean. We loved not having to use the air conditioning since there was always a nice breeze. The space was very clean with comfortable beds- big shower with good water pressure and a full kitchen. Easy 10 minute drive to downtown Rincon where there is a Econo supermarket - 50 places to eat and a swimmable beach - Playa Lala. The street along the ocean leading to the driveway is only one block long but - very very narrow—and the driveway is very very narrow & very very steep to get to the house- so you will need to be comfortable with that. For us- We just made sure to get back home before sunset & it was not too bad && the view -the warm hosts- overall cleanliness made us forget about the driveway :-) We spent most mornings swimming at the beach & the afternoon visiting all the plazas in surrounding area. Definitely make time to get to the Friday market in San Sebastián and Sunday Pulguero ( flea market) in Mayaguez— both had super fresh local fruits & vegetables at good prices and the opportunity to mingle. The hosts Joe & Pilar are very nice & helpful if needed- but allow you space & privacy to relax. We hope to return —soon!

What we absolutely loved about this place was the view! We were so high up overlooking the ocean. We also loved the setting. The patio area was great, with lots of tropical plants. We enjoyed sitting there in the morning drinking our coffee and listening to the waves at night. It was so neat hearing the coquies and roosters. Joe met us in town when we got there so we could find our way. We're glad we had an SUV because the driveway is steep. The apartment was well-equipped. The bedroom and living area are combined, but still plenty of room. It was nice talking to Joe. He gave us some good recommendations on places to go. We would definitely stay there again.
