"The hotel gave us the room we didn't book for. The reservation manager took our money for deposit but returned only half because he spent it. If we would have got the room that we booked for it would have been nice ig. The hotel location is good. "

"The hotel was beautiful, an old colonial atmosphere in a very comfortable setting, with great views of Kalimpong. Staff were very attentive and the Indian food in the restaurant was excellent. "Worst hotel and rudest customer service in 25 years We were wrongfully charged for meals for an extra guest ! The hotel at Pelling said they couldn’t do anything abt it. So I called and emailed the Elgin main customer service at Kolkata couple of times. They were extremely rude, and hung up on me the first time, just after 3 minutes.
