"The best part of the hotel was the outside,and the entrance hall and staircase.Unfortunately the rest of the hotel was very down market. The whole place needs a refurbishment ! Our room was disgusting in the bathroom there was glue ? ( not sure what is was ) on the bottom of two rows of tiles dirt stuck to it .chopped paint every where needed painting . "Stayed for one night and everything was fine. Location is good, near the tram to the beach, gardens and town. The public areas in the Hotel are nice and it has an impressive lobby area. The bar is good but we didn't use the restaurant so cannot comment. We had a twin room which was clean but the mattresses need replacing and need a choice of pillows. I think for the price it was adequate but maybe needs room investment."
