"I stayed here in February this year and while the hotel itself was lovely, the location great and a reasonable price for its location, there some niggles with service and the lifts that meant i gave it 3 stars. I am delighted to report that on this second visit the feedback Gave to the hotel directly has been taken onboard and all the issues I had were addressed. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and you would be hard pressed to find a comparable hotel in a central location cheaper."

"The Strand Plaza is in a great location and is an excellent hotel. One thing, I asked for a taxi and got a car with driver. Triple the amount to the bus station at 4am. I wasn’t too pleased with that."
