"It's a cool and modern property. The location is great, since it is close to town center (walkable) and the hotel is practically built into a shopping mall. There are stores and restaurants. There are meeting facilities. And public transportation stops outside the front entrance. The vibe and deco is cool. The only thing that is a little odd is the view from your room, because it seems it pretty much does not matter where your room is, you are always looking into a dark alleyway or a wall. But that comes with the setting in central Zurich. It's nice that the hotel has parking, which is always a benefit in a place like Zurich. The parking right below the hotel is limited, but if they run out of spots, you can park in the garage under the shopping center. That's a short(ish) walk, but it is OK."

"We had a pleasant stay at this ibis budget hotel. Some people may be put off by the hotel's 1 star rating, however that doesn’t reflect the quality of the hotel. It’s very cosy, the rooms are modern and comfortable and if you don’t mind the shower and sink being in the same room as the bed then it is perfect hotel in a budget."

"This was 3 days free-time between an 11-day Globus bus tour from Vienna to Lucerne and a 7-day Avalon River cruise from Basil to Amsterdam. We’re so glad we decided to include Zurich and the Locke Am Platz into our plans. Our 3 night stay was excellent. The breakfast was good but lacked choices, our only (minor) complaint. Front staff helped us with every question including coming up with a universal plug that worked (I’d left mine behind at the previous hotel in Lucerne), and a convenient way for us to do our much-needed laundry. We are very appreciative of those 2 things in particular. Zurich was my favourite city of our trip. Loved both the lake and Old Town. We had wonderful meals in Old Town and everything was easy walking from the hotel. "

"5 min away from the old town; clean and a relatively spacious room, great view from the roof top bar. The shower might be difficult to get in or get out of. Small elevators, but I think that is typical in Swiss hotels. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. "
