"We enjoyed our overnight stay. The rooms and hotel were clean. The staff was nice and answered our questions with local directions. The selection for breakfast was good from a quick cream cheese bagel or full plate sausage gravy and biscuits. We would definitely stay here again when we visit."

"The outside was not impressive. Looked old & plain. The inside of the room was old (it used an actual key & there wasn't a USB plug to be found) but it was clean & looked properly maintained. The AC worked well! The bed was too soft for my taste but that's a personal opinion not a knock. I was staying hear for a weekend up at Snowshoe & up on the mountain even the cheapest room would be twice what I paid here. I was not uncomfortable & I'd stay here again. Marlinton is only a few miles down the hill & it's a cool little town with a couple good breakfast joints."

"It was easy to check in and go to our room but we arrived late and we were unsure we were in the right place, they should really put a sign in front of the parking. Bed was very hard and noisy when u moved around. Place was decent but not great."
