The property is attractive, comfortable, and right on Lake Huron, and we walked to shops, restaurants, the harbor, and the farmers' market. "Honestly, this was the cleanest motel I've ever stayed at. Super quaint and cute, and no trouble with our dogs staying with us for a not-so-unreasonable charge. The owners were very friendly and check in was easy. As others have mentioned, the walls are a bit thin, but at least there aren't people stomping around upstairs like at the last Marriott I stayed at (because there is no upstairs). Definitely give it a try! "
