House looks great from the outside. Very quiet, rural neighborhood. Inside the house looks good at first. But we noticed cigarette burns on the couch and curtains, as well as a large stain of some sort on the couch. Noticed small ants on the floor crawling around. Kitchen sink did not work. No water flow at all. Washer and dryer had a do not use sign on them. I inquired to the owner about the sign and he said that it would cost extra to use them even though they were listed as amenities in the listing including pics of them. The beds are the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept in in our lives. Hard as a rock, almost like sleeping in plywood. The extra blankets for beds or inflatable mattress were cramed into trash bags in the closet instead of folded on a shelf. No information book on how to work the tv, WiFi, checkout instructions etc, like a normal Vrbo. Towels in the master bathroom seemed dirty as we saw someone else’s “hairs” on them as well as being wrinkled. For 386 a night we expected much much more.
